What can I say, but wow! Even if "life in themselves" meant fullness of life (whatever that really means... vague, at best), is still does not negate the condition: the eating of Christs' flesh and drinking of Christs' blood. This appears to be quite an egregious error on their part.

I'm not sure if I was suppose to DO anything when I went. I went in and thought maybe I should just sit down, eat and drink and leave. (which technically IS what I did) but I normally didn't use to talk because I'm 'disfellowshiped' and I practically LOOK like an apostate, even though i'm not. I have long hair to my shoulders and a goatee and i'm male (incase you crackheads didn't know ) . So i'm already prejudged as that. "How can HE be annointed? when he's like that" No one really talks to me, I don't normally talk to others. I just come and profess that i'm partaking and leave. Back int he day I use to talk to the elders. I've even held up a sign that says John 6: 50-54 ....and apparently made enough of an impression to have the guy on the podium actually QUOTE that scripture and try to brush it off (quickly) 'well if some people feel that way it's up to them' ...or whatever. But Since I went this time, I felt really...nervious, that made me really analyze how much i'm nervous about this. And how weak I feel cause of it. It made me want to go EVERY day just so I can 'face this fear' and not be affraid when something serious happens and I need to confess that i'm in union. I went before, and should've gone every year but...I have not. I probably wouldn't be nervous AT ALL by this point if I kept going each year. Maybe I would. I don't know. Does anyone still feel nervous after going many years? Am I talking out of my butt?

So glad you were able to go and partake and proclaim your union with CHRIST.
The flesh can be nervous yes, mine is just a tad now. Much less than in the years prior.
The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. It was so worth it to me though.
I am thankful to have been a part of this.

That is awesome abut the verse in John you mentioned that the brother felt it needed an explanation. It's okay, those that may have been asking were able to see the real meaning of the spirit. Maybe it was a trigger to some seeing the real truth.
