May you have peace!

Some time back we were discussing Islam, the Quran, and how she, too, was a daughter of Babylon the Great viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2765.

Shortly after we had that discussion, I asked my Lord and your Lord - Jaheshua the Christ, the Holy One and Holy Spirit of Jah - about the reason we can do this: see and speak (if called upon to do so) about Islam, about Babylon the Great, etc.

I received from my Lord that we can do this because we have removed the log from our own eye (or rather HE has removed the log from our eye), so that we can see clearly so as to help remove the speck in our brother's eye.

"Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother’s eye."

That log is religion and its lies; Babylon The Great and her lies; all the daughters of Babylon the Great and their lies.

Because we have been shown by Christ who BTG is (the adulteress who claims to sit as a queen but who has not remained in Christ) and what religion is (the beast that comes out of the sea, whose authority comes from the Adversary) - including the religion we, ourselves, were once part of - because that log has been removed from out eyes, and we have stopped touching the unclean thing, we are not hypocrites to speak the truth as we have been given so as to try and help our brothers with the speck in their eyes.

"Come out of her, my people!"

We, of course, cannot make anyone else see. But we can share the truth that we have been given by Christ, now that we can see clearly.

I have shared with you as I was given to share. May you be given ears to hear, if you wish them, and may you also hear as the Spirit and the Bride say to YOU, "Come! Take the free gift of the water of Life!"

"Come!"

Peace again to you all and to your loved ones,
your sister and servant, and fellow slave of Christ,
tammy

Oh, just to add... in case it was not clear - we too were part of BTG, and touching the unclean thing. So the above is not in any way a claim to be 'better than' anyone else. But rather that we too were once part of 'her' (BTG), and once part of religion, and we first had to see what our own religion WAS and come out.

Or we would have been blind (and also hypocritical) to point out the flaws in others while not seeing (and/or ignoring) our own.

Peace again to you all, and to your loved ones,
your servant and sister, and fellow slave of Christ,

Peace to you dear sister,

Thank you for sharing this understanding of removing "the log" in reference to religion. Of course that would give us freedom without hypocrisy to help those still enslaved by the harlot they worship.

I didn't think about this verse in reference to religion. I thought about it in every other aspect towards being able to help others. Being able to see and acknowledge in the mirror who and what we truly are (log in the eye) and why we need Jaheshuas daily continual coverage, knowing we are not better than others.

So thank you for this, peace and love to you and your household, your sister and fellow servant of Christ, Kim

Kim, I never thought about that verse in that way before either. But when my Lord said that to me, I was 'oh... of course...' and of course it was so right and true.

I know you know the feeling!

Do you remember the verse where 'if you look at another woman with lust, you have committed adultery with her'... and we learned that 'woman' here could also mean BTG or one of her daughters? This was like that... seeing something in a completely new way than before.

Shelby, I am sorry you lost your post. That hasn't happened in a while. I would not have the patience to try and post something from my phone. I type fast on the keyboard... but my texting is very slow!

Peace to you both,
your sister and servant, and fellow slave of Christ,

Good morning Tams, peace to you sis,

Shel, morning and peace to you as well. I too would think the puter over the phone would be easier LOL but then again, I can bearly navigate either LOL!!!

Tams, yes I see (lol) and understand. And our Lord just reminded me that that log or rafter remains in our eye until we go to Him and allow Him to remove it. It is "The blind leading the blind!" Which is what ALL mankind IS until one chooses to ask/ buy with faith the "eye salve" that Christ uses to allow our vision to be restored. Which this salve is holy spirit.

And then our helping others to see the straw that they have in their own eye is by means of what Christ through mercy has done for us and then all we can do is give proper glory and share with them who has given us sight and direct them TO HIM, our Lord Jaheshua Mischajah.

Remember the young man who was blind from birth ( which is all of mankind) and our Lord restored his sight.

May any who wish to be given this eye salve that gives us true sight from our Lord Jaheshua just ask... as it is FREE!
Take lifeswater which is holy spirit, free!
Your sister and fellow servant of christ, Kim

And yes again! Thank you for sharing this also Kim, and all that you heard and shared!

May all who wish them be given ears to hear (and eyes to see), and get a sense of these things. May you also hear as the Spirit and the Bride say to you, "Come!"

Let those who hear SAY, "Come!"

Let anyone who thirsts and anyone who wishes, "Come! Take the free gift of the water of Life!"

Peace to you and to your house,
your sister and servant and fellow slave of Christ,

And that really is primarily what we're to do, dear Tams (peace, luv!): share the truth... about the Truth. Eye-ee, "bear witness" to Christ. True, by means of the gifts of holy spirit, we may be able to do other things (heal, prophesy, speak in/interpret tongues, etc.), but none of those things will give others sight. They will only perhaps make others want to know the One who GIVES sight, by wanting to know the One who grants such gifts. Or at least, give praise to the Father FOR such gifts being used to assist them.

That's why I always cringe at the way religion interprets the whole "go therefore and make disciples" thing. Folks don't really understand: we can make disciples... followers... of Christ, yes. But we can't, just by sharing what we know, make "christians". THAT requires the ability to grant holy spirit. Which is a rare thing, even for the Apostles. While we have several examples of them using the gifts (of holy spirit) given THEM, say, to heal others, prophesy, perform powerful works, etc., we have few where they granted holy spirit to others. Indeed, Paul is only mentioned as having done so once, to a group of about 12 men, in Corinth (Acts 19:1-6). Interestingly, although Philip was led by Christ (the Spirit - 2 Corinthians 3:17) to join himself to the Ethiopian's chariot, and granted to reveal to that one who it was Isaiah had written about, and although he later baptized the eunuch in water, there is no mention of the man receiving holy spirit.

Judas was a disciple. As was Nicolaus and many others. But Judas didn't receive holy spirit; indeed, he had revealed his true nature and heart before holy spirit was poured out. He was an "apostle"... or "sent" one, yes. But he wasn't a "christian"... or "chosen one", at least not for purposes of the kingdom. Chosen to be an apostle... yes. Chosen to be a part of the Bride of Christ... no.

Disciples hear the call... and follow. Some follow, though, only for a time. The whole sown seeds thing, where some fall on the rocks, some are burned by the sun, some are eaten by the birds, etc. "Christians," however, are chosen to "go on bearing fruit." Hence, as seeds, they GROW... into "trees". Or at least, branches in the Tree (of Life).

I realize this is a bit of a deviation from what you shared, but your comment raised something in me. As you said, WE can't make others see. Our dear Lord didn't say folks were to buy eye salve from us but from him. Revelation 3:17 All WE can do is tell folks about HIM, the One who "sells" that salve. Holy spirit, as dear 'Mom (peace to you, as well, luv!) stated.

We can only tell others the TRUTH about him, though, when we can SEE that truth ourselves. And we can only see that truth... when the log has been removed from OUR eye. So long as it remains, the "view" of him is bound to be skewed. Sure, we might be able to see that it's a log ("Well, we're ALL imperfect!"). Thing is, while we can tell it's a log, we cannot tell what KIND of "wood" it TRULY is... what kind of TREE it came from. OR... that it's rotten. Gotta have it taken out so as to LOOK at it, not AROUND it... to "see" that.

Thank you for sharing that... and the greatest of love and peace to you and your dear household!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shel

Interesting about giving holy spirit as being a gift. I never understood that seeming ability to pass holy spirit on to another person, and so that makes sense that it would have been a particular gift. Even having it, if I recall, Paul was very cautious about using it.

So thanks for that!

As for the rest, I have nothing to add except agreement, as my Lord has also taught me these things.

Peace again to you and to yours,
your servant and sister, and fellow slave of Christ,

Peace to you Tammy,

As to this thought you shared,

Israel after being freed from slavery to Egypt...looking back and longing/ lusting for the leeks and cucumbers verses the manna that gives true life to sustain them.

Just was reminded of this application in one way. And there are many.

Love, your sister and fellow slave of Christ, Kim
