To the Household of God, Israel, and all those who go with... may you ALL have peace!
At the outset, please let me say that if you think this thread is for you... please consider that perhaps it is not, that perhaps there are others. Indeed, there are many who ask this same question/feel the same way, which I can state with a certainty. It seems that this is on the mind and heart of many now who, for some reason, aren't able to hear Christ respond to them himself (the reason being discussed below). Because of this, I am directed by my Lord, the HOLY One of Israel and Holy Spirit, JAHESHUA, the Chosen One of JAH (MischaJah), to share the following with you so as to perhaps answer that issue/question for those with ears... and wishing to hear.
NOTE: If I were to share the answer from my OWN heart and in my OWN words, I would say to you... that that is the point: you ARE never right. NONE of us are, including myself, which I have shared with you on MANY occasions. Indeed, let JAH be found true, though EVERY man a liar. I realize, though, that the sensitivities of some would reject such statements, perhaps even take offense, because it doesn't "sound nice" (although I have shared as openly as possible that I am NOT nice and so NEED a savior. I do not lie about this and so praise JAH there IS a savior!
This is not about me, however... and so, the following is not my response but what I am to share with you from my dear Lord. And that is... that it is not ABOUT you. Or, at least, if you wish to belong to HIM... it SHOULDN'T be (about you). At all. Ever, really. Somehow, that truth is very difficult for some to grasp. MANY things (and for some, everything!)... is "about" them, in some way or another. What such ones fail to SEE is when one makes it about HIMSELF/HERSELF... one is looking AT ONESELF... and so JUST as occurs when looking at someone ELSE (to see what THEY are "doing", thinking, believing, not doing, etc.)... one is NOT... LOOKING AT CHRIST.
Now, per my dear Lord, I should not leave you to think that your never being right is something that I am saying, something that is coming from ME. And so, I am to share with you HIS words about that, as spoken through his servant, David. Before I share that, I must share this: even though he was the SON OF GOD... as I shared with you before, he NEVER took glory for himself. And so EVEN though he was righteous... and committed NO sin... he NEVER undertook to describe HIMSELF that way. So, when you read the following, please keep this in mind. Please keep in mind who HE made it "about"... and why. And then, perhaps, in doing so, you will "SEE"... why OUR focus not only shouldn't be on others... as to what THEY are doing, thinking, believing, etc., but with regard to being RIGHT... and RIGHTEOUSNESS... it should not be on ourselves.
Rather, as MANY wrote, we are to HUMBLE ourselves... BEFORE JAH:
"So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said to him, "This is what JaHVeH, the God of the Hebrews, says: 'How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me?" Exodus 10:3
"JaHVeH sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts." 1 Samuel 2:7
"... if my people, who are called by my name*, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
"The lowly he sets on high, and those who mourn are lifted to safety." Job 5:11
"Pride brings a person low, but the lowly in spirit gain honor." Proverbs 29:23
"... this is what the Sovereign JaHVeH says: Take off the turban, remove the crown. It will not be as it was: The lowly will be exalted and theexalted will be brought low." Ezekiel 21:26
He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble. Luke 1:52
"For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." Luke 14:11
"But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble." James 4:6
"Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time." 1 Peter 5:6
Humble OURSELVES. Do it OURSELVES... rather than leave it to others... or JAH... to do it.
Which my dear Lord did, as you will see in a minute. He humbled himself... did not have to BE humbled (and so, humiliated) by the MOST HOLY One of Israel... and as a result was exalted... TO THE RIGHT HAND of God. We have the accounts of where he did that in the flesh. But the question might be HOW did he do it? HOW did he control the "urge" to make things about himself... which, being the SON of God... HE very well could have done?
We have written for us in the Psalms many examples of HIS SPIRIT... what was IN him... including that which kept him from exalting himself, from concerning himself with his OWN righteous... but HUMBLING himself. He did it by keeping HIS eyes on the Father... not on himself... which perhaps you might "see" in the following, the 143rd Psalm... from the (old) NWT. Please, if you need to, note what my dear Lord has had me underline and bold HERE:
"O JaHVeh, hear my prayer; Listen to my plea for help.
"In your faithfulness and in your righteousness, answer me. Do not enter into judgment with your servant, For no one living can be righteous before you. For the enemy pursues me; He has crushed my life into the ground. He has caused me to dwell in darkness like those long dead.
My spirit is failing; My heart is numb within me.
"I remember the days of old; I meditate on all your activity; I eagerly ponder over the work of your hands. I spread out my hands to you; I am like a parched land that thirsts for you. (Selah) Do answer me quickly, O JaHVeH; My strength has come to an end. Do not hide your face from me, Or I will be like those going down into the pit.
Let me hear your loyal love in the morning, For I trust in you. Make known to me the way I should walk, For to you I turn. Rescue me from my enemies, O JaHVeH. I seek your protection. Teach me to do your will, For you are my God.
Your spirit is good; May it lead me on level ground. For the sake of your name, O JaHVeH, preserve me alive. In your righteousness, rescue me from distress. In your loyal love, put an end to my enemies; Destroy all those harassing me, For I am your servant."
We have all heard how Christ "EMPTIED HIMSELF out and took a slave's form." This Psalm, however, shows us that LONG before he took a slave's FORM... the sinFUL form of the HUMAN body... he had a slave's SPIRIT. Nowhere in this Psalm did he exalt himself. Nowhere did he seek his OWN righteousness. Throughout, he did as he is and has been trying to teach US, mankind: to seek the kingdom... and IT'S righteousness... not OUR OWN.
When we are looking at ourselves, though, making it "all about" us... which we tend to do when we want to do our OWN will... then we are not following Christ. Because... we are not LOOKING at Christ... as HE looked... solely... at the Father. We cannot gaze upon the Father; WE... can only gaze upon the One who is the IMAGE of the Father. If, though, we are looking at others, another... ourselves... we are NOT looking... at Christ.
And whether we are (looking at him) or not, HE said that NO ONE... LIVING... can be righteous... BEFORE God. Therefore, let GOD be found true, though EVERY man... even our dear Lord himself, AS a man... a liar. And that One, Christ... is not a liar because he is the TRUTH. And if the TRUTH says that NO ONE LIVING can be righteous BEFORE God... then it is GOD's righteousness... HIS being right... and not WE OURSELVES... that we should be concerned with.
In that light... we should be able to understand... and ACCEPT... when we are DISCIPLINED... BY JAH. If we are having difficulty with that, then we should remember that even Christ was "disciplined" by JAH. He... all the way to the death of his fleshly body. We, though, are not being asked to be disciplined to that point. And so, Lazarus wrote (to the Hebrews):
"In your struggle against that sin, you have never yet resisted to the point of having your blood shed. But you have entirely forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: “My son, do not belittle the discipline from JaHVeH nor give up when you are corrected by him; for those whom JaHVeH loves he disciplines, in fact, he scourges everyone whom he receives as a son.”
"You need to endure as part of your discipline. God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? But if you have not all shared in receiving this discipline, you are really illegitimate children, and not sons.
"Furthermore, our human fathers used to discipline us, and we gave them respect. Should we not more readily submit ourselves to the Father of our spiritual life and live? For they disciplined us for a short time according to what seemed good to them, but he does so for our benefit so that we may partake of his holiness.
True, no discipline seems for the present to be joyous, but it is painful; yet afterward, it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
Therefore, strengthen the hands that hang down and the feeble knees, and keep making straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but, rather, may be healed. Pursue peace with all people and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord." Hebrews 12:4-14
Did He scourge Christ? He did. As Lazarus also wrote:
"A man does not take this honor of his own accord, but he receives it only when he is called by God, just as Aaron was. So, too, the Christ did not glorify himself by becoming a high priest, but was glorified by the One who said to him: “You are my son; today I have become your father.” As he also says in another place, “You are a priest forever in the manner of Mel·chiz′e·dek.”
"During his life on earth, Christ offered up supplications and also petitions, with strong outcries and tears, to the One who was able to save him out of death, and he was favorably heard for his godly fear.
Although he was a son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered. And after he had been made perfect, he became responsible for everlasting salvation to all those obeying him, because he has been designated by God a high priest in the manner of Mel·chiz′e·dek."
But dear Lazarus went on... and I am directed to do so, as well, for those who might benefit from the TRUTH of the following:
"We have much to say about him, and it is difficult to explain, because you have become dull in your hearing. For although by now you should be teachers, you again need someone to teach you from the beginning the elementary things of the sacred pronouncements of God, and you have gone back to needing milk, not solid food. For everyone who continues to feed on milk is unacquainted with the word of righteousness, for he is a young child. But solid food belongs to mature people, to those who through use have their powers of discernment trained to distinguish both right and wrong." Hebrews 5:4-14
Why had these gone BACK to needing milk, versus FORWARD to solid food? Because they TOOK THEIR GAZE OFF CHRIST. To look at themselves and/or others.
And so, they were never/no longer... right. To the contrary, they were/became wrong... in MANY senses... because their DISCERNMENT had not been TRAINED. DISCIPLINED.
Which is what a "disciple" is: one trained BY another. Not one who is punished by another, as we view the word "disciplined" today. And not one who simply follows another. Remember, the crowds followed Christ, yet not all were his disciples. A "disciple" is one who follows the TEACHINGS, DIRECTIONS, LEADINGS... of another... and so are TRAINED by such. And that training, is rarely, if ever, easy. Indeed, as Lazarus wrote, "No discipline is joyous... but grievous."
But consider, if you will, what those who belong to Christ are being trained FOR: to RULE with him... AS KINGS AND PRIESTS in God's kingdom! And just like those who become kings/priests in OUR day... either by birth or by appointment (by men)... and so must undergo rigorous training... incuding self-deprivation... in order to PREPARE for such roles... the sons of God are being trained in preparation for a much more important role. We should NOT, then, expect OUR training to be easy, lightweight, and certainly not SELF-serving.
I, SA, have shared these truths with you just as I received them from my dear Lord, the HOLY One of Israel and Holy Spirit, JAHESHUA, the Chosen One of JAH (MischaJAH... which is the name given to ALL those who are called by the name of JAH - "MischaJah" or "Chosen/Anointed One... of JAH"... as those in Antioch were called in Greek - "kristianos" - or "chosen ones/people"... but even more so, "chosen ones/people... of JAH"). It is not for anyone in particular, but for us ALL... all with ears to hear the SPIRIT and HIS truth, as he gives it to us.
May we ALL do so, then, to the glory and honor of the Father, the MOST HOLY One of Israel, JAH of Armies... and to His Son and our dear Lord, JAHESHUA, His Chosen One. And may those who do not yet have ears... but wish them... and are thirsting... be GIVEN ears so as to hear when that Spirit and his Bride say to such one:
"Come! Take LIFE'S (Christ's - John 14:6) 'water'... the holy spirit of God, the MOST HOLY One of Israel, JAH of Armies... which 'water' is HIS blood, HIS breath, and HIS seed... HIS life essence and dynamic energy... and is poured out from the innermost parts... the HEART... of ONE... the HOLY One of Israel and Holy Spirit, JAHESHUA, the Chosen One of JAH (MischaJah)... FREE!"
Peace to you, ALL!
Servant to the Household of God, Israel, and ALL those who go with... and a slave of Christ,
SA
