The NIV uses the phrase "native language", but that's not quite right, is it? The Greek literally says "ἐκ τῶν ἰδίων" or "from the own" with "own" meaning "one's own, private, personal".
I took it to mean "natural" language, as in HIS (own) language, yes, dear LQ (peace to you, dear one!). His "first" tongue... or the "tongue" that is NATURAL (native) to him. That which he speaks... FIRST. Because he COULD have [spoken] truth... had he CHOSE to.
The MOST HOLY One of Israel, JAH of Armies... cannot lie. Cannot. Everyone else, however, can choose: to speak truth... or speak the lie.
I hope this helps!
Peace to you!
