No to selling water board to Thessoloniki, dear ANOMOS (mornin ' and peace to you! )... or no to the regime's desire/attempt to stop the poll?
Regardless, I thought Greece was a predominantly (if not entirely) orthodox country. As such, christians don't openly oppose government decisions, at least not violently... right? True, as citizens they have a right to oppose but (1) they UNDERSTAND that there are others forces at work and for a purpose; (a) violently fighting against the "superior authorities" MIGHT actually be fighting against JAH Himself... which is why Christ and his disciples didn't join the Jews in their violent protests against Rome... which restraint was part of the reason they were hated SO much BY the Jews; (3) while all thing may BE lawful they are not necessarily advantageous; and (4) most importantly, their eyes... and hearts... aren't on the kingdoms of THIS world... and what such wrought... anyway, but on the kingdom of God, the NEW Jerusalem. Where things like who gets what water... when... and how much... is NEVER an issue because regardless of how much there is is or through where it flows its SOURCE is the same for all AND no one can lay EXCLUSIVE claim to ANY of it and it is SHARED... by ALL.
Which is prolly why you didn't get a whole lot of commendation on this particular topic. Most are christians and/or followers of Christ here... or trying to be... so issues like this don't necessarily set our blood to boiling. I mean, there's a place and time for everything, and I can only speak for myself but I would say PLANNING for violence because a government MIGHT do something I don't want/like seems to be jumping the gun (no pun intended, but it is a good one - LOLOL!).
As always, thank YOU, though, for keeping us informed!
Peace to you!
Your servant and a slave of Christ,
Shellamar
