Give it a moment or two, dear Char (again, peace to you!). Maybe it'll come to you, luv.

Peace!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shellamar, who can't recall watching a single episode of Monty Python (not my kind of humor, I don't think - not sure, though)... but does recall something about "The Full Monty"... and "Monty Python's 'Men in Tights'" (I think), but neither of which she also watched... so is not sure these are related...

No, the Full Monty was nothing to do with Monty Python...it post-dated it by about twenty years, I think, and nothing to do with men in tights either...you might be thinking of a production of a version of Robin Hood, I think.

Never mind. I shouldn't assume everyone understands British humour and satire...it is very different in the other side of the Atlantic, I know!

As to your post...nope...I can tell you're hinting at something but as to what...sorry, you've lost me!

One thing, though. Didn't you say a week or so ago that you liked to be direct? No offence meant, but sometimes I find you the most indirect person I've ever encountered! :) A good dose of Yorkshire blunt speaking wouldn't go amiss at times! Lol! :)

I DO, dear Char (peace!)... and as often as possible! However, there are times when humor dictates (and so there is satire, etc.)... AND there are times when even I know someone won't be able to handle the... mmmmmm... direct... approach. Not that this was one of those times, necessarily (although, I wouldn't be completely honest, now that I think about it... to say it wasn't). More than the other, this was just one of those "attempts at humor" times.

Maybe look at this from that POV? That might help...

Peace!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shellamar, who acknowledges that, depending on how one looks at it, it COULD be a hybrid...

Well, you've clouded it in an even deeper fog, and I simply haven't a clue what you're talking about!

If there was a point in that post, it failed in its purpose. If there was no point, then why post it?!

I'm off to bed!

You have it right, LQ.

In fact, one could posit that those who, like the WT, make the most noise about God merely reveal their lack of knowledge of Him.

Char, maybe you could explain who you were talking about?

That might help.

Peace,
tammy

I was making a general comment, Tammy. Along the lines of 1 Corinthians 13:1.

Sorry, I thought that was obvious. What did you think I meant?

It was a short, simple post. What I didn't understand, and still don't, has been the posts that followed.

As did I with regard to my comments.

I can't respond for dear tec (peace to you, too, luv!)... but that's very similar to what I thought.

Yes, and full of inuendo, very similar to my comments.

Perhaps you might consider, then, "who" it is that MAKES (some of) the loudest noise about God. You can add another verse, if it helps:

"Broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction and MANY are the ones finding IT."

Such ones "find" that "road"... because of the very LOUD "voice" of the ones calling them TO it... whereas, the voice calling those to the NARROW road is soft, quiet, presents in LOW tones... so that FEW are the ones finding IT.

Maybe that will help clarify, maybe it won't. For some reason, I am wont to think you'll respond that it doesn't. In which "light" I would have to respond that while perhaps I am not being blatantly direct, no, I truly don't think I can be any clearer. Just depends on the eyes of the one who's reading.

Again, peace to you!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shellamar

Actually, Shelby, there wasn't any innuendo in that little post of mine. None at all.

I don't even know now what you thought there was.

I really don't do innuendo. If I want to say something, I'll say it. I don't hint. Surely you know my style by now? It's saying what I think that gets me into trouble, not hinting!

Since I don't know what innuendo you think you are seeing, I don't know what more to say.

I'm trying to understand... Is it that you interpret what I would perhaps suggest are spiritual moments as TZ? Sort of a spooky unknown? Is that what you mean by TZ?

I'm sorry if I am being stupid here.

Loz x

I'm saying, yet not with so many words, that the dream was not a tz moment. As dreams can be interpreted. TZ's cannot.

Loz, thanks for trying, to understand. However, it is comprehension that must be ultimately acheived here.

Good day. :)

Maybe there are no tz moments then, sKally. Just moments that we cannot YET explain or understand, or 'interpret'.

Dreams can be interpreted... but that does not mean that their meaning is always interpreted correctly.

Peace,
tammy
