Ahhhh... thank you, dear ANOMOS (mornin' and peace to you!) for the explanation (re parliamentarianism) and clarification (re Greek culture... and yes, I do see what you mean - it does seem most prevalent as to holidays/traditions!). I would still love to visit your BEAUTIFUL country one day. Every time I see glimpses of it (via cooking/travel/reality shows) I think, "I MUST visit there one day!" From my heart (and mouth) to reality - LOLOL!

Peace to you!

Your servant and a slave of Christ,

Shellamar

You are welcome! But be prepared: A nice country with horrible people. Well not all of them.

Which is practically ANY country one might visit today, dear one (peace!), yes? Including my own. Here's another's opinion about that:

http://www.thetoptens.com/most-hated-countries/

One can hardly stay at home, though, can one, out of fear of "bad" people? Well, now wait, I guess one can, as many do. Too bad. I once heard that someone famous (I forget who) said that "the 'cure' for prejudice... is travel." I believe that. The more you get to know other people's customs and traditions, etc., the less fear you hold as to such people. For some of us, at least. Apparently, for Nazis... not so much. Ah, well...

Peace!

Your servant and a slave of Christ,

Shellamar

Wow Greece rated 131/138! And 15 for best food? I thought we were 1. Really you have to taste Greek food. Germany 11 for hottest girls? Are you kidding me? Come here and then tell me-even better than Brazil!

Really you have to travel to break down prejudice. And Nazi's are the same everywhere. Please do not consider them as human beings.

These are not real ratings, though, are they? It's just someone's opinion. It just depends on where you live, doesn't it?

Looks like they might be voted on, since it says vote for your favorite, Char.

(hope you are doing well; good to hear from you)

Peace,
tammy

LOLOL! I included it as tongue-in-cheek, dear Char (peace to you!)... and an "opinionated" glimpse of what others thought. I had no illusions that it was even close to accurate. And I could be wrong but, based on his comments, I don't think dear ANOMOS took either me OR the poll seriously, either.

Peace!

A slave of Christ,

Shellamar

Yes, clearly the order is as voted on by visitors to the site, Tammy. I just wanted to have that clear.

However, it does throw an interesting light on the different ways in which people all over the world think. Worldwide, so many people allow their sympathies and understanding to be formed by media and commercial interests. From a British perspective, to find South Korea high up on a disliked list is just plain weird! I mean, why, for goodness sake?!

Thanks for your enquiry, Tammy. I am feeling ok, though I've been undergoing some not very pleasant hospital investigations. However, I am just so grateful that we have the wonderful NHS here. We are very fortunate that no-one in Britain need worry about not being able to afford to be ill.
