Of course, we do not have to be angels to be sent somewhere by our Lord, to someone... whatever the reason He has for doing so.

(think Philip... it was Philip right?... and the Ethiopian; or Peter being sent to Cornelius; etc)

But there are actual angels, also.

I haven't. Is it a Christian book... because i don't tend to read those (tried and read a couple of the left behind series, but it got to the point that I was cringing at the things that were false - about Christ and God - and I had to set them aside)? Or a book that Christians liked?

Heart of Darkness is a fiction book of modern heavenly warfare on Earth. Demons and Angels are on earth guiding humans towards certain goals. Demons are trying to take over a town and the angels are trying to stop it ;P

What you describe there sounds similar to Constantine though. And somewhat like the show, Supernatural (at least its overall theme of angels/demons... though the angels in supernatural are as bad if not worse than the demons), which I have always liked... but some things in it are starting to bother me now too.


Funny how Christ is simply left out of the equation in many of these shows/books, etc. There's God, the devil, angels, demons... but no Christ.

Seems logical that if "bad" angels ("demons") can possess humans so as to do bad/harm... good angels would have that same ability, no (peace to you all!)? I mean, why would "bad" angels have more power/be able to do things that "good" angels, cannot? Sort of like that same illogical thinking that demons (heck, Satan himself)... can speak and people can hear THEM... but the MOST HOLY One of Israel... and the One to whom He gave ALL authority... in heaven AND on earth... can't. I mean... seriously? THAT makes sense to someone???

Just a couple of thoughts, though. Nothing more from me on this matter, except perhaps some logic to reason on. Otherwise, don't want to start/get involved in another board "war"... so this will be the extent of my contribution - LOLOLOL!
