As for your riddle, the only thing that comes to MY mind is:

(1) How soon after all of that "Armageddon" destruction (the way the WTBTS describes it) everything is so renewed and pristeen;
(2) The folks are fishing (what, fish don't deserve to live, too??)
(3) Apparently, horses will still be property (what, horsies don't deserve to be free, too??)

I dunno. What are we missing?

I have been following your posts over on the "other forum".

I guessed that fishing was kind of not right in the new system LOL

Wow, that JWD thread took me WAY back, dear John (mornin' and peace to you!). Back to H20, too! I felt a little melancholy for those days (which is kinda exceptional for ME, because I am not sentimental at ALL - LOLOL!... but I "missed" a few of those folks, particularly dear Doug... sigh...).

EXCELLENT article about the infamous "Pastor" Russell. If folks can't see that that guy was a scammer... well, they just WANT to be blind, is all I can think of. He was NOT the one with my Lord's spirit; his wife Maria had that privilege... and he knew it when he married her. He simply stole and extorted from HER gift. But took all the credit (and folks most willingly gave it to him... 'cause he was a MAN - eye roll...).

Maybe this article (which is genuine; I looked it up) will help some here help some of their loved ones see what they are TRULY enslaved by: as the article notes, Mr. Russell was WELL-known for his skills in acquiring... wait for it... REAL ESTATE. Which is what the whole "Watchtower" scam is ABOUT: it is a real estate acquisition and holding company that USED to use money garnered by selling literature FALSELY based on the Bible/Bible prophesy... to buy REAL ESTATE. And it STILL does that, buys and holds real estate. These days, it's not so much by means of the sale of literature as it is by "contributions" and "donations"... especially the "surely, you can give MORE" kind of "contributions" and "leave us your money and assets when you die" kind of "donations."

THANK you for posting this information, and I look forward to more, particularly as to Mr. Russell's TRUE exploits (with underage girls... although, the WTBTS has pretty much "whitewashed" THOSE scandals such that their current worshipers (and by "worshipers" I mean worshipers OF the WTBTS... not JAH or Christ!)... can't even SMELL the lie, let alone SEE it. Usually, the nose can smell filth because the eyes locate it. They're "sh*t" is SO well perfumed, though... with all manner of "air sprays"... that it takes some serious digging to find the real dirt. So, thank you for "digging" for those of us who don't really know where to look... or, like me, don't really CARE to look (but appreciate the "find" when it's revealed, all the same!).
