LEANN SAID

James,

you Said. : That said, I feel that our core is pure/loving consciousness. so when we exit here, we go back to it immediately. And for those very sensitive ones, they experience it now, even before material death.

I think I agree with what you are saying, if I understand it correctly.. our core is also our source, which is love. I feel the ones sensitive to it now sometimes describe that state as 'hearing'.

I do wonder about an awakening or revealing.. Have no predictions as such but I do observe for it.

TEC SAID

I think the scientific method is a process of leading us to truths... but truths of a material/physical nature; at least for now. Because we and our tools are limited, so is our ability to measure/interpret the results/methods of scientific knowledge.

The truths of the universe cannot be in conflict with Christ. Only our perceptions/understandings of one or both can make them seem to be in conflict.

I am not a math person. I admire those who understand it, and equations and the like. But I am not one of those people. (Basic) algebra, I love and understand. The rest of it, not so much... although I do agree that math and equations are a more accurate language. I am more of a 'watch and learn' kind of person. Watching what people do and how the world turns, events and emotions. That sort of thing. I understand more in that way. Our Lord often helps me see the connections between those (and truths).

Peace,
tammy

SOFT + GENTLE SAID

I guess the skepticism I am referring to, after talking to you all and after thinking about it, is the sort that is a process of inquiry but where there is similarity to truth as defined by non atheists is in the sense that when it comes to taking action one acts as if what one would like to see come true will come true even if there is huge doubt.

this is where I guess I do have an affinity with those who believe in God but in the sense of what the garden of gethsemane enacts for example

Please excuse my ramblings.

Maybe the words attributed to James will "encourage" you here, dear S=G (the greatest of love and peace to you!):

"But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind." James 1:6

May you have ears to hear, if you wish them, and get the sense of this truth.

YOUR servant and a slave of Christ,

SA

lol lol lol @ Shelby encouraging my ramblings

i do like that quote from the book of James. He and I are on the same wavelength I think because when it comes to taking action one must be like Christ in the desert and of course in the Garden of Gethsemane
