I spoke to Snowbird earlier today, and she hasn't been posting for the past couple of weeks on either board due to her Meniere's disease acting up. Meniere's can be very debilitating, and it causes vertigo, dizziness, nausea, and a whole host of other unpleasant symptoms.

Fortunately, the hurricane steered clear from her home, with only some wind and gusts.

All who wish to offer her your healing thoughts are welcome to do so here, or you can send her a PM if you wish.

Sylvia, I hope that you feel better soon! May thoughts of the Lord's kindnesses bring you days filled with health and love.

I have this too and it was because of this that I had to retire from any type of full contact martial arts training.
My mother suffers from it too.
In all my years, it was from this that I went to the emergency room for myself for the first time.

You are in my thoughts and prayers as you suffer through this time of dis-ease. We are all in decline at one stage or another. It is only God's Holy Spirit that sustains us. As Paul said: "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day." 2 Corinthians 4:16

Embrace what you are going through and let God make it "work for your good". Romans 8:28. God uses our weaknesses and problems to build us up into the kind of people that He desires us to be. We are being built up as the "body of Christ".

Our suffering is 'momentary and light' compared to the eternity of joy and peace that awaits us.
