That is a question that millions, if not hundreds of millions ask each day (may you all have peace!). The answer, of course, is yes.

Thing is... is that the question to be asked? John 14:23

Peace to you, all!

A slave of Christ,

Shellamar

The question is . . . .

The question should be . . . .

Peace to you, as our Lord gives it (and not as the world gives it).

Our Lord is purported to have said:

“Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”—John 15:13.

Christ died.

Christ died, for you. Ergo, you are his friend.

Christ died, for you long before you even came on the earthly scene.

Christ was slandered, for you.

Christ was slapped, for you.

Christ was spit upon, for you.

Christ was punched and beaten, for you.

Christ was whipped, for you.

Christ was thorned, for you.

Christ’s hands were nailed, for you.

Christ’s feet were nailed, for you.

Christ was pierced, for you.

Christ was murdered, for you.

Christ was hanged upon a stake, for you.

The question IS NOT: Does Christ (or God) love us?

Christ HAS PROVEN his love for us.

The questions are: Do we love Christ? How do we show it? How do we demonstrate it? Obedience is better than a sacrifice, is it not? Are we proving our love for Christ? Are we continually, each and every day, proving our love for Christ?

The questions are: “Do we love Christ? Will WE DIE for him? (Although he is not asking that of us.)

Christ HAS PROVEN his love for us.

Yes, dear, dear Armand (peace to you, dear one!), he has. And so he no longer has to PROVE... ANYTHING to ANYONE! But because of what ("christian") religion has taught for centuries, some just cannot fathom that love. I keep recalling the WTBTS repeatedly quoting Malachi and the whole "probably" (you will be saved) verse.

Dear ones... THAT WAS NOT to those of our dear Lord's BODY. How can we know? Because of the word, "probably."

"Probably," dear ones... means... maybe. Could be. Perhaps. Not "sure," "certainly," "of course."

But, what, though... is FAITH? Is it not "the ASSURED EXPECTATION OF THE THING HOPED FOR"?? If one is ASSURED... then there is no place for "probably," "maybe," "could be"... "perhaps."

Does our dear Lord discipline us? YES!! But his discipline is NOT punishment - it is TRAINING! And in the process of that training... are our weaknesses revealed? YES!! What training does NOT reveal the weaknesses of the trainee? What trainee doesn't HAVE weaknesses???? Isn't that one NOT a trainee... or apprentice... but a "journeyman"? And what does an apprentice have to learn/go through until they BECOME a "journeyman"?

In some occupations... years. Even decades. Sometimes... a lifetime. BUT, such one DOES make it to journeyman... and, maybe, even master!

The MOST HOLY One of Israel, JAH of Armies, loves you, dear ones. He PROVED that... when He gave His Son FOR you. That Son, the HOLY One of Israel and Holy Spirit, JAHESHUA, the Chosen One of JAH (MischaJah), loves you. HE proved that... when he gave HIS life.

Now... it's our turn. Really. It is no longer their turn to continue (trying) to prove ANYTHING to us, let alone their love. The ball is in our... man's... court. The challenge is not to them ("Oh, you need to prove to puny mankind that you love them!"). They FULFILLED the challenge to them.

The challenge... is to US, those who are TRYING to BE blameless and upright:

"One day the angels came to present themselves before JAHVEH, and Satan also came with them. JAHVEH said to Satan, “Where have you come from?”

Satan answered JAHVEH, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”

"Then JAHVEH said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”

Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”

Is our Adversary RIGHT to those of us who are TRYING to be blameless and UPright? Who reveres JAH and shun evil?

"Then JAHVEH said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason.”

“Skin for skin!” Satan replied. “A man will give all he has for his own life. But now stretch out your hand and strike his flesh and bones, and he will surely curse you to your face.”

Question is... will we? Will we curse JAH to His face when things go bad for us? Blame Him? Cry out to Him, "WHHhhyyyy??" OR... we will stand FAST in our FAITH (assured expectation) of what we hope for: everlasting life in the kingdom OF THE SONS OF GOD?

It is not a time to worry about whether God and Christ love us. The time is to consider whether WE... love THEM. According to JAH, if we love HIM... we will listen to His Son. According to that SON, if we love HIM... we will obey him.

We can do it! We can PROVE Satan the liar that he IS! Not just as to JAH... by as to his lies ON US!

Peace, truly... and strength... to you all!

Your servant and a slave of Christ,

Shellamar

Thank you Shelby, Armond, Justmom and Tec.

The difficulty many time is for us as fleshly vessels to let go of our ego, our flesh, so the spirit in us can be disciplined, trained and be made strong.

Thanks for the continued reminders.

Your brother in Christ
