Good day and peace to you all! I'm not sure if the identity of Babylon the Great has been shared here (our indexing system doesn't really sort that properly). Just in case, I am linking a discussion I am engaged in with dear Sab on another forum in case anyone is interested:

http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchto ... ed#4627673

Please overlook my comments to another poster (Cofty) if you can (although its contents are the truth), as they aren't really in line with the topic but simply a response to his need to comment virtually after every post I make... and why.

Just wanted to share this truth with those here who might be interested. If you already know it, wonderful! If not, enjoy!

Again, peace to you all!

YOUR servant and a slave of Christ,

SA

Thanks for the re-post of this. I have been thinking of it and explaining it to my family where I reside and this helps me get my information in order.
The explanation of prophecy isn't my field and it's not something My Lord and I discuss often just as some had gifts of tongues, prophecies, healing etc it seems likely the same is true today amongst the Bride of Christ.

I will add something.

The False Prophet mentioned in Revelation. I've thought for some time that this is WTBTS as they seem to fit the description.

I much enjoyed your explanation for the verses in question, Shelby. A truly breathtaking perspective that caught me off guard. I gave a broad perspective because that's how I got back into the Bible. The details are what causes the theological schisms. There are fundamentals that all religions can agree upon. You CAN get them all into a room together, you just need mediators.

When I first exited the Watchtower I immediately was caught within the alluring atheist/agnostic web. It was so easy to call it all hogwash and ridicule anyone who believed even after it being "exposed." That turned out to be a childish viewpoint.

I personally cannot fully comprehend why some online posters decide to be so consistently malevolent.

I can tell you why, dear, dear Sab... and ALL of the Body needs to understand this (the greatest of love and peace to you all!): we... and they... are Israel. Israel is, for the most part, a hard-headed, hard-HEARTED, STIFF-necked house. Just like our 1st century brothers were called out of the sytem of worship that prevailed upon Israel at that time... and were turned on by those who adhered to it... the same today. True, most no longer adhere to the WTBTS' teachings, but SURELY you can see that they hold on to the mind and heart condition of the WTBTS.

And that's understandble... for those who were born-in: truly, how else CAN they act... while separate from Christ? From where would they learn how to treat their "brothers"? They WANT to be part of the world! They want all that the world has to offer! Here's the thing:

You have three factions of Israel:

1. Those of Israel who remained faithful to JAH (of which there was always only a few);

2. Those who adhered to the Law Covenant SO tightly, that they judged, condemned, and turn over to their enemies, their own brothers (those still in the WTBTS); and

3. Those who wanted to be like the nations - who wanted to be ruled by the nations and worship the idols of the nations (those who come out and leave JAH entirely).

No different today than then. Not at all. You might wonder how the latter worship the "idols" of the nations, while claiming no belief in gods of any kind. One only has to look at the "gods" OF the world, though, to see it: money, politics, military might, science (to the extent it tries to negate God) and so evolution (of humans)... to the extent they "worship" it as a teaching, sports, governments, traditions, customs, possessions, etc. Whatever it is they now put their faith in.

I am not saying these things in and of themselves are wrong/bad; they are NOT. These are just things. It's what Israel MAKES them, though, and tries to make them TO Israel: replacements FOR God. What they look to for their 'salvation.' THAT is what makes these things gods... and because they don't LIVE, in and of themselves... or grant life (eternally)... they are "false" gods. So, we cannot blame money, or politics, or science, or militaries, or governments, or sports, etc. They do not hold themselves up, these things. We, man, hold them up... and "worship" them.

And that is how it has been with Israel since leaving the slavery of Egypt. Israel has repeatedly shown that it is not a nation that CAN govern itself, can BE free... be without a shepherd... because if it doesn't get annihilated by its enemies, its members turn on one another attempt annhihilation that way. Has always been since its release from Egypt. It THINKS it's like other nations... which are often a law unto themselves... but it isn't.

And Israel today is not confined to national boundaries. Israel... is those in whom exists Abraham's blood, through Isaac. Which people have been scattered throughout the earth and are now part of EVERY nation, tribe, tongue, and people. And whose blood is known to JAH... who brings them together from time to time. During which they show who they are... by being of one of those three groups I listed above.

So, don't puzzle it too hard, dear Sab - they are simply showing who they TRULY are. But Christ has shown US what we are supposed to do about them... indeed FOR them. The same as our Lord. ASK:

"FORGIVE them, Father... for they don't know what they do."

I hope this helps. I certainly needed the reminder.

Again, peace to you!

YSSFS of Christ,

SA

Great reminders my sister.....

It is because of LOVE, Mercy, Compassion and Pity is why we may "hear"....
"You MUST pray for Israel."

They are our brothers. Jah loves them because he loves Abraham. Because of the stubbornness of their hearts that is also in ours...we understand why they do what they do.

Thank you again for that reminder

Yes, it definitely was a mess I admit as much. However, I think serves a purpose. There are about 350 people who read through the entire thread so there are people who are interested. Plus the thread goes into the archives of the internet, which can be brought up by whoever in the future. I suspect the motivation of the current audience to be entertainment, and that's not a bad thing at all. I hope to enlighten so that others can know the truth about the Watchtower.

A good point was brought up about how far we take the blame we put on the Watchtower. I am an activist by trade and it's not a very forgiving trade and it doesn't produce what the world considers of merit. Like an umpire in a sports arena.

A lot of people simply ask, "Why take it that far?" and it's precisely THAT misunderstanding within human nature that the Watchtower attacks on the internet with.

"You see guys! We just got too worked up with blame and hate! We should just cool it and get a real job." That's LITERALLY all they got. When, a closer look into their literature shows beyond the shadow of a doubt that they don't much like Christ. My question is what's wrong with Christ?

They turned the cross into a stake which lobs off anything and everything Catholic. They nixed Christmas which is about infusing the population with the message that giving is better than receiving. And they replaced all that with a judicial system that Draco of Athens would be proud of.

They, until recently, taught their followers to venerate a large group of people who figuratively eat from the body of Christ (Now it's under 10 which is doing what the Jews tried to kill Christ in Flesh for: acting like God except HE WAS RIGHT, they are imposters).

I grew up with three individuals who partook and each and every one abused their power. They never admitted it. They were real quiet and meek about it, but actions speak louder than words. They were told that they were going to be kings and queens and RULE over the rest of us in the new order. If you know anything about psychology you would know that's going to have an affect on the mind.

"You are going to rule over the world from heaven with JEHOVAH. And here are the beginnings of your domestics."

The Parable of the Faithful and Wise Steward is a direct reference to Christian martyrdom which connects with the Image of the Beast in Revelation 13. In the beginning it was the death sentence to assert that Christ died on the cross which was a Roman practice. It was a massacre and slowly and surely the momentum of Christianity changed. Now we have the same entity as Rome in the Watchtower, but they have their hands tied behind their backs. That's because the superior authorities work. We shouldn't be tearing down our establishment, we should be fortifying it. And that means taking a bite out of crime which creates terror for the meek. When the meek stand up they are beat back down. But no matter how hard they hit, we always get up.

Actually, nothing more than a lot of Esau/Jacob, Ishmael/Isaac, dear P (peace, brother!). I won't go so far as to say Cain and Abel (oh, Lordy, the outcry over THAT!). But prophesied... and so shouldn't be too surprising. If you know who YOU are, then you will see who others are. Especially Israel. The faithful as well as the not-so-faithful.

Peace!
