Speaking of walking by sight, a question occurred to me - If we are allowed to see or understand something (finally), why wouldn't we just be given listening ears?

I know the answer is probably all over this board, but I wake up in a new world every day.

As I was pondering this, and thinking about the time and work it takes some of the body to answer our questions, especially when we're hard-headed, the thought occurred to me that some of it was for them; maybe to show their willingness to BE His servants.

Because it seems to me that there are members of the body here that don't chime in very much; but might be that they just don't visit the board very often. I don't know - it was just a thought I had. Then that made me think of the story of the blind man -' who sinned, that he doesn't have any eyes?' "We must work the works of him that sent me while it is day."

This maybe could be applied to someone getting their spiritual ears, too. (Not me; my list is long on what stands in my way, and if Shelby doesn't stop posting new things all the time, I'm going to run out of ink.) But maybe someone.

What is always shared by our Lord is always for us to listen and learn from. We are extremely stubborn and hard- hearted and we need DAILY the training our Lord gives to us to help us see, listen and obey!
At least I know I am speaking for myself if not for many others here as well LOL!!!

When you said the statement that if an individual is given eyes to see something ( finally ) why wouldn't we be given listening ears ( as well)?....

I was immediately shown by my Lord that "MANY SEE" the WTBS as to who and what they are..
That they are false prophets, priests, wolves in sheep covering, that they stand before Us and Jah as our mediator blaspheme by calling themselves THE TRUTH when ONLY ONE is...Our Lord and savior Jaheshua the son of Jah. ..that they shut up the kingdom before men by prohibiting sheep to partake of our lords body and blood and so on...

But they can still CHOOSE not to listen to the instructions as to where to go? Our Lord would never allow us to see these things and not offer us a "where to go?" ( unlike man)

He tells us to "Get out of her my people."...AND to " Come to him"... John 10.
Take his yoke and load. And come to him and take Lifeswater, Holy Spirit FREE!
As Peter said, it is our Lord who is and speaks the sayings of everlasting life.

So even when many see the WTBS for what it is, they choose not to hear as to what to do.
And when we choose not to listen and obey what our Lord says, we justify it away that we must not be hearing.

Yes, many, many biblical names of people have the name of God used within their names. And God’s name shows up in many of those names as “IAH.” Names such as:

Zedekiah
Nehemiah
Jeremiah
Hezekiah
Isaiah, etc., etc., etc.

One must know, however, that the “I” in “IAH” is a consonant—not a vowel—such that during the Middle Ages, in Europe, when the monks/scribes of the Catholic Church wrote those biblical names there came a time when they wanted to truly differentiate the consonant “I” from the vowel “I.” How did they do that? By putting a little “tail” on the consonant “I”; thus, making it look like this: “J”. The “J” still retained the consonant Y-sound, but it just looked like “J”.

Today, we English speakers, have no problem pronouncing such names which contain the consonant “J,” such names as: Johann Sebastian Bach (How did you pronounce his first name?), Sarajevo, Juden (In German, How did you pronounce it?), and the like, etc., etc., etc.

If ever you are able to view the pages of scribal manuscripts in the Middle Ages, you will see God’s name written as “IAH” and the name of his Son was written as “IESOUS.” Later on because of the scribal addition to differentiate the consonant from the vowel you got: “JAH” and “JESOUS” – but with the same pronunciation—same sound but slightly different look (with a tail on the “I”).

And . . . then . . . the Norman French conquered Britain and gave the English “J” the sound we English speakers now have: “J” as in Jake, Joke, Jehovah, Jasper, Jungle, Jupiter, Julius, Jeepers, Jingle, etc., etc., etc.

I'm glad what helped me also helped you, Ataloa, and I cannot take any credit whatsoever for it. The difference in those names, laid out exactly like I did on the page before, is just what my Lord showed me. Just so.

Like you, Ataloa, I also had read all the details and longer explanations from Shelby first that helped. I then just needed to SEE it, same as you perhaps did.

But all credit goes to Jah, and His Son, our Lord, Jaheshua.



Thank you Armand, for all of that. I had noticed that the iah made the same sound as jah, but I didn't know why the spelling was different. I found it all very interesting, seeing how many prophets were identified with God (El) or the name of God (Jah).
