Like I said I'm terrible getting thoughts into words but food for thought..
If we're all instruments to be used I believe there's a time and place where we are being used to our fullest. When that time comes its up to US to take what we're given and to use it to Holy Spirits advantage.

I believe if we all had the exact same amount of faith it would measure up differently varying spirit to spirit because where your heart stands depends on your capabilities your faith can accomplish.

*scratches head*
I think that's what I was getting at... LOL
I'd love to hear some input. The more you wonder the more you wander

Good Morning RED......

and you worded this just FINE!!! That was truly encouraging. Thank you....

And YES>>>If we allow ourselves to be instruments Jah uses us at his discretion to the fullest extent that WE allow holy spirit to work through us and it is to glorify HIM and his SON!

That was profound and my spirit bears witness with "where your heart stands depends on your capabilities your faith will accomplish."

We must remember that what we read in the bible uses physical terms we can all relate to because we are physical/fleshly and need something we can see to relate to.......BUT when we can transcend the physical what we read now is ALWAYS talking to our spirit. (Take it to the next level) The examples/stories/messages are relating to our spiritual bodies "REALLY" Its just for most including myself we need what we can see FIRST!

But holy spirit is trying to "get us back" to looking and understanding "THE REAL" that where we have allowed ourselves to evolve to is not "the reality".....spirit came first...then physical.... and we are to try to turn our hearts/attention back around by looking at Christ. He is the ONLY means to help to do and see this.

Hebrews 11:3 "By faith we perceive that the system of things were put in order by Gods WORD (Christ), so that what IS BEHELDhas come to be out of things that DO NOT APPEAR."

So to undertand truthfully the whole ARK thing, one must entertain not just the idea of it being PHYSICAL, but where is the SPIRITUAL in this?
Just sharing what I understand from spirit.

Joy and Peace to you all today

FINALCALL SAID

Hello Red

Good point about having Holy Spirit and being abundant in faith.
When I think of the verse in the bible that speaks of "Faith the size of a mustard seed"
I usually think of the place I would like to be. Meaning, if only I could have faith the size of a mustard seed. When really that may be the minimum I need to accomplish. To accomplish great things with regard to Holy Spirit or just to overcome some of the weaknesses of my flesh maybe I need to have faith beyond that of a mustard seed.
What if "Faith the size of a mustard seed" should be the minimum of faith I should strive for? Or, is it the beginning of great faith? Forgive me, if I seem to be rambling it's just these are the thoughts I am now pondering after reading your post.

Great post

Your Brother in Christ

Hell puppy

As far as I know the Watchtower Society had to agree to stop accepting direct payment for all literature as a condition of keeping their charity status. This is why the public is no longer charged for books and magazines. They can make a voluntary contribution to the Society if they choose to.

Quote:
Quote:
On January 17, 1990, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that sales of religious literature were subject to taxation, which introduced ambiguity into the formerly tax-free practice of suggesting a specific amount in exchange for the magazines. The Watch Tower Society filed an amicus curiae ("friend of the court") brief arguing that the perceived sale of religious literature should be exempt from taxation.[32] From March 1, 1990, the journals were made available at no cost, on a freewill donation basis in the United States, with the stated purpose of simplifying their Bible educational work and distinguishing themselves from those who commercialize religion.[33]

he JW-bible app was free though.

I don't think there are any JW apps in the AppStore that are submitted by the Watchtower society. I think they are all submitted by private people

Hmmm in the JW-bible some verses are just flat out missing lol

The verse number is there but the text is replaced by "--" ;P

Puppy, I think those verses are missing in all bibles, but the jw version makes a point of showing that. My study conductor was very proud that the jw version was upfront about this, and claimed the other versions were trying to hide it

It happens whenever the translators don't know enough to even attempt a translation. Right?

The old manuscripts and texts were broken down into verse numbers as well? ;D

The people long ago that wrote all the letters and such were thinking ahead

Oh, ha ha

WHEN they put the bible together, and added the verses, chapters and such, they left out some verses that they did not know how to decipher. So NWT or NIV or MB or whatever, they all skip those verses, but the numbers jump ahead too because they know something is missing. I think the NWT just makes a more obvious note of it.

I think that is correct.

Peace,
tammy
