Can you please explain what you mean by "omniscience," dear P (peace to you, luv!)? I would like to be clear before I comment (if I comment) because I don't think what SOME folks think about it... or the scriptures used to support it... is accurate. But just in case... I'm checking, first.

Thank you and, again, peace to you!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shellama

The article is about a persons view on God's Omniscience and I found it rather interesting.

MY view on it is this:
God knows all He CHOOSES to know at any given moment and God knows all our possible choices for any given situation and all their outcomes.

K, I'm good with your understanding, dear one (peace to you!). Although, I might add something I learned from Lord that might help us understand some of that "knowledge" - well, at least as to prophecy:

We tend to think that God is behind us... and projecting forward. But the truth is that He is far, far, far... ahead of us... in "time." WE are living NOW... and so what still awaits and what we have yet experienced... is our "future." "Prophecy" is possible because... in THEIR "timeframe"... such things have already occurred! And so, they (prophecies) are actually histories. Those who exist in our FUTURE, through holy spirit, send BACK... in their HISTORY... information with regard to the FUTURE... for those they send it back TO (or others for whom it is meant for in THEIR future).

Like someone today having a way to send information back to, say, 1813, as to what will occuring in, say, 1913. Because those in 1813 have not way to CORROBORATE the validity and accuracy of what is being said will occur in 1913, it is "prophecy."

We tend to view JAH as existing in our past, which He did... but solely our past. Because those who come BEFORE us are usually LIMITED to our past, if they are much older than us (i.e., an ancestor). The MOST HOLY One of Israel, JAH of Armies, however, existed before we did... and so is (much) older than us. But HE is not only in our past, but our present... and our future.

HIS "time" is not the same are our (measurement) of time.

Thank you for sharing your understanding and, again, peace to you!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shellama

One of the hardest things to grasp for us is how time is "irrelevant" to God.
Being Outside of time as we know it, there is no past or present or future for God, not in any way we can understand it NOW.
I once read the view that God is in 'all time", He is/sees the past, present and the future all at once.

Personally, I have a hard enough time grasping MY time, LOL !!

It IS difficult for us to step "outside" of "us," isn't it, dear P (peace!)? Even more so, the more "fleshly" and "terrestrial" we are. Which is why we must try to transcend. We can do that, even enter... but best to go through the Door! Otherwise, rather than finding ourselves in the real "Oz"... we end just falling, falling, falling... down the "rabbit hole." Which has not bottom, so we never stop falling.

Peace!

A slave of Christ,

Shellama
