Thanks Zoe, for bringing this over :)

Now this is not nearly as inspiring as Zoe's many posts, but my son found it and showed me, and I giggled through most of it. So I need to share it with all of you:

If World War I Was a Bar Fight

Germany, Austria and Italy are standing together in the middle of a pub when Serbia bumps into Austria and spills Austria’s pint.

Austria demands Serbia buy it a whole new suit because of the new beer stains on its trouser leg.

Germany expresses its support for Austria’s point of view.

Britain recommends that everyone calm down a bit.

Serbia points out that it can’t afford a whole suit, but offers to pay for the cleaning of Austria’s trousers.

Russia and Serbia look at Austria.

Austria asks Serbia who it’s looking at.

Russia suggests that Austria should leave its little brother alone.

Austria inquires as to whose army will assist Russia in doing so.

Germany appeals to Britain that France has been looking at it, and that its sufficiently out of order that Britain not intervene.

Britain replies that France can look at who it wants to, that Britain is looking at Germany too, and what is Germany going to do about it?

Germany tells Russia to stop looking at Austria, or Germany will render Russia incapable of such action anymore.

Britain and France ask Germany whether it’s looking at Belgium.

Turkey and Germany go off into a corner and whisper. When they come back, Turkey makes a show of not looking at anyone.

Germany rolls up its sleeves, looks at France, and punches Belgium.

France and Britain punch Germany. Austria punches Russia. Germany punches Britain and France with one hand and Russia with the other.

Russia throws a punch at Germany, but misses and nearly falls over. Japan calls over from the other side of the room that it’s on Britain’s side, but stays there. Italy surprises everyone by punching Austria.

Australia punches Turkey, and gets punched back. There are no hard feelings because Britain made Australia do it.

France gets thrown through a plate glass window, but gets back up and carries on fighting. Russia gets thrown through another one, gets knocked out, suffers brain damage, and wakes up with a complete personality change.

Italy throws a punch at Austria and misses, but Austria falls over anyway. Italy raises both fists in the air and runs round the room chanting.

America waits till Germany is about to fall over from sustained punching from Britain and France, then walks over and smashes it with a barstool, then pretends it won the fight all by itself.

By now all the chairs are broken and the big mirror over the bar is shattered. Britain, France and America agree that Germany threw the first punch, so the whole thing is Germany’s fault . While Germany is still unconscious, they go through its pockets, steal its wallet, and buy drinks for all their friends.

The End…. (or is it?)

 :D

peace,
tammy

cute though, i'll have to share that with a few........atheists.

*walks into class with an arrogant look on face*

*in slow motion, with cool percision, head towards the teachers pet of biology class, even though everyone else is walking normally*

*grabs paper from left hand to right and stands in front student*

@Voices hmmmm Well actually, pot is made by God for a reason and has its uses if you are sick or have a chronic disease. It wasn't meant to be used to be stoned and escape lifes responsibilities but it does good. I can use it legally here in Canada because I have 2 out of 4 diseases that qualify me Z(severe MS and severe arthritis). I have to get a licence though and the application form is 12 pages long lol and I hate smoking and the pot isn't covered by insurance so I never did apply for it. I probably should if I could get it so I could eat it not smoke it.

Everything in the earth, dear V (peace, luv!)... EVERYTHING... including pot... including man himself... has a GOOD purpose, but can be used for a bad purpose. It's simply up to us to CHOOSE what we do with/use each thing for: good? or bad? Life? or death?

Even that which many might consider "poisonous". Think casaba root... and how many depend on that for food. Yet, before properly prepared, it is deadly.

You feelin' me? (SA points to fingers at her eyes, then at dear V's, then back at hers)...

Peace... pipe! LOLOLOL!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shellama

What does it mean when people point at eyes and then at another person? That's at least a second mention on here...I think the first was by Hellpuppy (backwards) but I don't think it's a gesture in use in Britain.

Means 'I'm keeping my eyes on you..."

Or

"I'm watching you..."

Sometimes it means that you 'get' that person. You understand. But for the most part, its letting someone know that you are keeping a watchful eye on them... and their behavior ; )

Peace,
tammy

I do not believe that exchange ever took place between any person named Einstein and a professor ;)

In Shelby's case it means "we see eye to eye" or "do we see eye to eye?"

In my case it means "my eyes are on you buddy ;) I'm keeping a watchful eye on you so no funny stuff:P"

I do recall reading somewhere that that discussion (between Einstein and a prof) never took place, dear HP (peace to you!). A good analogy; sad that it only has credence because Einstein is linked to it.

Peace!

A slave of Christ,

Shellama, wondering how many unknown "Einsteins" are really out there... how much mankind might have missed by not knowing [of] some of them...
