yep
like old times

thanks for the pic, sKally

that's probably what we would have looked like in daytime
but we liked the night and wore two helmet lights
and my wrist was tied to a handheld motorized propeller
and some hi-tech electronic anti -shark thingy on my chest
and we actually spoke underwater in real time
using some sort of other hi-tech thingy bob that sounded like ticking

we were surrounded by
masses of bioluminescent creatures
like glowing jellyfish and squid
and i'd have thought they were aliens or something

we felt like astronauts

if you ever look behind a big ship at night
you'll see a glowing trail
where the hull slammed into thousands of floating creatures
so there's squid with headaches going
"did anybody get the number of that truck?"

Good Morning everyone!!
Coffee anyone Image
Finally we have some warm weather here, yesterday it went up to 80 degrees. Two days before that it was 36 degrees, as always here in my part of Canada it goes from one extreme to the other in one day. Finally the buds came out on the trees yesterday morning.

We are going out to buy a flat screen 55 inch Smart TV this morning; A big splurge but we need to do it now or never while its on sale. This one is on sale for $1099.99, it was $1400.00. I have a 50 inch big screen TV I bought in 1999 for about $2600, I have never had one moment of trouble with it until this past winter when it suddenly goes weird for a few minutes with all kinds of vertical lines appearing. Our old one is huge and heavy, not sure how we will get it out of the house without some help LOL

Good morning ZOE and everyone else this beautiful day as well.

We are headed for warm sunny skies the whole next week. We have had cold super windy weather. ( allergies were bad )

Zoe, enjoy your big screen. We have been using my sons ( I believe its 50 inches) and it is why my husband and I don't go to as many movies. We just wait for some of them to come out on red box for a dollar and then make our popcorn and sit in front of the big screen with his movie speakers LOL!!!!
It's sorta romantic LOL!!!!! OR just a cheap date LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!

Enjoy your day, love and peace Kim

Morning (afternoon), lol. It is cold and there is a little bit of snow falling, Zoe. Last weekend we had snow too. It's too warm to stay on the ground (though we had a bit of a dusting last weekend for half a day or so). But it is currently overcast with a few flakes falling that will probably turn into rain. The work weeks have been warm - ten to fifteen degrees celsius - but the weekends not so much ; )

My work will be closed from June 2 - June 12th for renovations. I was SO hoping that would happen more toward the END of June, so I could have packed the kids up and gone visiting family elsewhere... but we can't go anywhere at that time... they're still in school. Still, gives ME ten days off in a row. Wonder what I am going to use the break for...

Peace all!

Maybe some writing... I mean, reading, m'dear (peace, luv!)? I read a wonderful book a bit ago by a lady whose writing style is actually pretty similar to yours. The book was so good I almost couldn't put it down (I actually need to Google her and see if she has a new book out, yet. Last I heard, she was thinking of doing a sequel, which would be a great read, if she did, and I need a great read, right now, as I just finished reading "Nefertiti" (by Michelle Moran) before which I read her book, "The Heretic Queen" (which is actually the sequel but I read them in backward order). They are both historical fiction but based on a LOT of true history, both were GREAT, and the backwards order of reading them didn't take anything away from either one.

I do have a new John Grishom sitting on the nightstand and will prolly start that tonight, though. But another story about good dragons (which the author I first mentioned writes about) sounds appealing, too. I could really get into that!

Peace... and whatever you choose to do, enjoy your time off!

YSSFS of Christ,

Shellamar

1999? New ones won't last so long. But they will be so outdated after only a few years that you will replace them anyway.
