All me baby unless otherwise noted ;PI'm sure all that is found here has been uttered or written down already by Marcus Aurelius in his text "Meditations" ;P Upon further reflection I believe that my character has probably been influenced a great deal by Marcus. I remember reading that book in middle school and I guess I have subconsciously kept many of his sayings close to heart |

I realize you stated the quotes here are for you, dear Pup (peace to you!), so if my adding to them is out of line, just lemme know - we can start a new thread. For now, this one, shared with me by dear 'Mom (peace, luv!): "I'd rather be slapped in the face with TRUTH... than kissed on the cheek with a LIE." I LOVE it!! Me? Knock ME the heck OUT, if you must, with truth... but keep yer lyin' lips away from my face! 'Cause there's usually some teeth... and deadly venom... behind lyin' lips. I might be battered and bruised... and sportin' a black eye... when I wake up from being knocked out by truth... but I WILL wake up. But the results of the venom behind lying lips is usually a slow, calm, "soothing"... maybe even "nice" feeling... sleep... that one doesn't ever wake up from! I'll take the punch of truth full on, ANY day... and maybe buy myself some new teeth later. But I'm gonna do a WHOLE lot of "bobbin' and weavin'" to avoid those "soft" lyin' lips, you betcha! Peace! *gong* (what is up with y'all not doing the gong, seriously, yo) Peace, tammy (whose new job apparently requires the callback 'yo' when someone asks if they can tell you something - like a menu count - and then 'yo that' when you hear what they had to tell you: "Tammy, may I?" "Yo." "Table 42 needs drink refills." "Yo that!" LOL, so you may end up hearing some of this word 'yo' from me) |

Love cannot exist without truth. There is a FORM of love, true, that exists without truth... but it's power will prove false. And...
