TEC SAID
sonofman, there are some things that you share that I also understand. The kingdom within us being one. That some preach or teach for their own glory is another. That the Spirit of Christ (the Holy Spirit) speaks is yet another.
Some of what you share is unknown to me, so I will leave it be for now.
And some of what you share, the spirit within me cries out against. If one wishes to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, then one need only ask the Father for this gift, and exercise faith in Him to receive it. The way of Christ is the ONLY way to the Father (he is not the old way, and perhaps I misunderstood what you meant in this)
But no one need come to YOU, to receive this gift. Christ is the one who chooses.
"If anyone loves me he will obey my teaching, and my father will love him, and we will come and make our home with him."
You are correct that no one among us is to be called Father. But no one among us is to be called teacher, either. We are witnesses to the ONE Teacher, and that teacher is Christ.
Many here, hear the Spirit within them, sonofman. You will be hard pressed, I think, to convince them that they need to come to you to receive something that they have already received
Kassad, I understand your frustration with the way some atheists attack faith. Some theists are far worse mind you, lol. But I do understand. Some people are disillusioned and hurt and angry, and this is a stage for them, and especially those who have been disillusioned, hurt, and angry due to a religion and its teachings on God. For some, I think that faith is a threat, especially if it is faith that they cannot tear down. Some have their own reasons that are unknown to me.
I have learned that there is always an answer to some of the questions or arguments 'against God'; and to be patient and not to worry, even if I do not YET see that answer. Because the answers always come. When I see or hear the answer, then I am always... oh, so simple; how could I NOT have seen that!?
Peace to you, tammy
