To the Household of God, Israel, and those go with... may you all have peace!

Following the path of thinking from "Who Do You Love? Are You Sure?"... to "The Pure Language - What Is It?"... I am now directed to ask, among many questions still to come:

1. Is it TRULY possible... to FULLY understand... what another is saying... to you and/or others... if you don't speak his/her language?"

2. Is it TRULY possible... to FULLY communicate... what you wish another to receive/grasp/understand from YOU... if you don't know how to communicate it... in his/her language?"

3. Is it POSSIBLE... that, when hearing another speak... you can misunderstand the message, perhaps even misconstrue it to others... BECAUSE you DON'T fully understand their language?

4. Is it POSSIBLE that, when SPEAKING to another, because OF the language "difference"... what you THINK you are saying might in FACT... be something else entirely?

For example, if MY native "tongue" is English... but YOUR native "tongue" is... say... Tigrinya... and I have (1) never heard Tigrinya spoken, or perhaps (2) have heard SOME (a few) words spoken in Tigrinya (i.e., "yekenyaly," "bay," "käbdi," "ləbbi", "gäza")... could I TRULY understand you when you say, for example:

"Internet kray bzey bank account, amechawi kunetat..sulutn bzey ttsbay"?*

Wouldn't it help if you spoke a little more... and wouldn't it even be better if you were proficient in speaking... Tigrinya?

What if Tigrinya... was truth, the language of Christ? Could you TRULY understand what he says (to you)... if you didn't speak his language, that language being truth? Could you not mistake some words as meaning something entirely different than what he SAID? Alternatively, could you TRULY get your point across to HIM... by using words you THINK are in his language (truth)... but in fact are in YOUR language (which lacks truth)... and mean something else entirely?

Of course, some are going to, "Well, he's CHRIST! So why doesn't he speak to us in OUR language?!" What such ones don't understand is that HIS language... TRUTH... encompasses ALL languages. But not all (of OUR) "language" (personally speaking!)... encompasses HIS! We don't ALL... SPEAK... truth! Even in our own NATIVE languages/tongues.

If you want to be ABLE to understand another, as well as to clearly communicate WITH another, however... TRULY wanted to be able... wouldn't it behoove you to at least try and LEARN that other one's language? Can you do that, though, learn that other language... if you NEVER use/speak it or only do occasionally?

Would the TRUTH be that the MORE you USED it... to converse... the BETTER you become at SPEAKING it... as well as HEARING/RECEIVING it when it's spoken... to YOU?

Indeed, if you TRULY wanted to understand Tigrinya, wouldn't you have to STUDY it, somewhat... whether formally or informally... then USE what you've learned through study... by SPEAKING in that tongue? And isn't it TRUE... that if you DON'T use it... you literally risk LOSING what little bit of understanding you may have been able to grasp during your studies... retaining only a few of the more "common" words (i.e., "yekanyaly"... which means "thank you"... or "bay"... which means "goodby"... or "gäza"... which means "good"... or "käbdi" and "ləbbi"... which mean "stomach" and "heart")?

So that, the MORE you use/speak a language... "tongue"... the more you UNDERSTAND that language/tongue? And the LESS you use/speak it, the less you understand it... indeed, the less you HEAR it when it's spoken... and not have it sound like gibberish?

My husband's first language was Spanish; yet, he and his siblings were discouraged from using it. Now, he is the only one among them who speaks it. And although he understands much more than his siblings, I often hear HIM asking someone (who has addressed him Spanish)... "Mande?" Meaning... "What?"... "Come again?"... "I didn't understand you!"

If you don't know what a particular language sounds like... because it is not YOUR language... does it not sound like little more than incoherent babbling? And even if you recognize the language by, say, the "accent," is it still not incoherent... because you don't KNOW the language itself? The words are unclear, so they SOUND unclear... so their MEANING is unclear... so that little if ANY of it makes sense to YOU? Or, because you rarely if ever USE it... or don't use it ENOUGH... can you really say that you could FULLY grasp their meaning?

It is the same with TRUTH, the language/tongue of Christ, dear ones. If you don't know it, learn it, or use it... it WILL sound "foreign" to YOUR ears, perhaps even like babbling/gibberish. If, however, you not only LEARN it, which you do by listening to the One who TEACHES it... and STUDY it... then USE it... so as to be PROFICIENT in it... it will continue to SOUND like babbling/gibberish to you. You ears will NOT be able to readily translate it... and so receive it.

And you, then, will miss out. On being led in the RIGHT direction. Because your NEW "first" language... won't BE truth... and so you won't hear... or understand... the One that LEADS those of mankind WISHING it... into ALL truth.

I hope this helps, truly.

Again, peace to you ALL!

Servant to the Household of God, Israel, and all those who go with... and a slave of Christ, the HOLY One of Israel, JAHESHUA, the Chosen One of JAH (MischaJah)... who is THE Truth... by means of whom we are SANCTIFIED... and CLEANSED (John 17:17; Hebrews 13:12)... and set FREE (John 14:6; 8:32, 36)... so that we CAN stand before His God and Father and ours, the MOST HOLY One of Israel, JAH of Armies, and speak with HIM,

Shellamar (who learned a few words of Tigrinya, the second language of Ethiopia, after Amharic... while in Axum!)

*"Internet rental without a bank account! Favorable conditions! No Waiting" (sorry, dear ones, but s'all I could find that had an English translation close at hand! LOLOL!)

I know a couple of real good, professional translators. Just let me know if you want the link. Real nice married couple.

If you mean as to Tigrinya, dear Skals (peace to you!)... thanks, but no thanks. I actually now have a couple of friends who speak the language (daily) and so would look to them if I did need such help. Better yet... there are a plethora of services, even free ones, on the Internet. So, I think that if I really needed a translation, I could muddle through, somehow.

But thanks for the offer!

Peace!

Your servant and a slave of Christ,

Shellamar

Yes I've recently learned that Croatia has one... or perhaps two... apparently good translators, dear Skals (peace to you!). I dont think Croatian is similar to Tigrinya, though, and accurate translation is important, IMHO, so... LOLOLOL!

Peace!

Your servant and a slave of Christ,

Shellamar
