I hear you, Jochy! I am quite eager (with that same feeling of fire/holy spirit) to do the same!

Peace and love to you and yours,

I consider it a privilege and blessing to be able to proclaim Christ to men. I am going to be leaving soon. I just want to thank everyone who has shared their experience, and love for all those who express their love for Christ, in whatever manner they do this. You have all helped to keep the fire burning in me this evening.

Love and peace to you all.

Your servant and sister, and fellow slave of Christ,
tammy

BURNS SAID

All of us who believe in Jesus should receive Him. But that has nothing to do with the JWs. What they present isn't Jesus. Partaking of the emblems in the JW shamorial is meaningless.

Nothing is meaningless if it is done out of love for Christ and others, Burns. Christ does not abandon any of those who belong to Him and He answers those who seek Him, and that includes those within the wts. Sending them a witness, that the invitation is to all... to listen to Him over men... is not meaningless.

Peace to you,
tammy

KASSAD SAID

Attended the memorial last night, and it felt like I'm being strangled. The speaker kept reminding everyone that the emblems are only for the "annointed" and that if they think they deserve to it take part, it should not be due to emotions, etc. He stopped short of forbidding anyone to take part. An old lady behind me whispers to another beside her, "Why can't we take part, aren't we ALL been saved by Christ?". I assume she was not yet a JW. I, myself did not partake, for fear of stumbling others in anyway. (Or maybe I still have more fear of men) It was Christ's supper where nobody ate. After that came the announcement of bible studies, and special talk on Sunday. Proselytizing, it seems, is all they care about. Poor ones.

Dearest Kassad

You went and got to see and feel how empty those words are that they preach to their members. You also got to see how they shut up the kingdom to the sheep by saying everything around it but the words, "DON'T DARE TOUCH IT!"

Maybe next year you will be ready to demonstrate what is in your heart.
If you pray for the courage, our father JAH will never let you down. Our flesh may be a little uncomfortable but the spirit will be strong.
Of course whatever you choose if your personal decisions. We love you anyways. Thanks for sharing your experience last night.

Love Justmom

Kassad, I totally grok what you mean by "strangled." What baffles me s people who support the sham after separating themselves after realizing. It is like dog going back to its vomit.

Hi BurntheShips, for me, I went there for Christ and the brothers, just to show some fellowship celebrating the night of Nisan 14. I do believe that there are genuine Christians in my congregation, but sadly, for the moment they are in the wrong place. But Jah and Christ is in control...

Strangled, suffocating is the way to I can describe it. You can really feel the authoritarian rule of the Governing body.

Posted: Wed Mar 27, 2013 3:40 am Post subject:
Today for the first time in my life I partook from the emblems in the presence of a full conference room in a hotel. I must confess that at first I felt the fear of man, and say fear of man because within myself something impelled me to participate. I prayed to my Heavenly Father for Holy Spirit and had the courage to do it before the eyes from some of astonishment and others displeasure, as was the case of the congregation coordinator elder. After partaking all the fear disappeared and I felt filled with a feeling of indescribable peace. No fear, just joy and peace and more to see that my wife also partook. My 20 years old daughter did not partake, but as my parents, who are living in Puerto Rico and are JW's too, they asked us to have the Commemoration via telephone after I reach my home so they can partake, then my daughter and my brother in law partook. I am very happy and I know that many of those who did not partake in the KH tonight have done so at home and that's excellent. Soon they will be ready to make public declaration from our union with Christ. Blessings to all.
