I hear you, dear Loz (peace, my dear!) and perhaps I did misunderstand your "reaction". I am VERY glad to know that you have been able to move past letting them affect you - we MUST, musn't we... or risk becoming a "tool" of the Adversary, as they are? So, thank you for the clarification.

As you also state... it might be a timely thought for those who have not yet been able to do this... FULLY forgive... but maintain a subtle yet insidious anger/chagrin. That kind of anger is dangerous, though. Like an ember undetected and so left over by the fire crew... that sparks maybe just by some small "wind"... and ultimately burns the whole "house" down at a later time. Maybe with souls still in it. Never may that happen!

Again, thanks for clarifying and, again, peace to you!

Something I found very faith strengthening and has never let me down and what has helped me to accomplish this assignment of going to the memorial as with other times I am sent is found at LUKE 21: 12-18

...particularly verse 14 " therefore settle it in your hearts NOT to REHEARSE beforehand how to make your defense, for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which ALL your opposers together will not be able to resist or dispute."

He has never let me down. I hope I can be an encouragement for you.

Jochy, glad you like it. I like it too, I had to learn to live by it after a long abusive marriage.

Outlaw, you're very kind, I'm not sure if anyone ever recovers completely. It's so important to me that I don't shrink back from Christ, but I have other things that need consideration, so we'll see. I have to pray more about all this and see what He guides me to do, for everyone's best interest.

JustMom, excellent points, why ever do we worry, when we have such a promise "what we need to say will be given to us....."?

Same thing with Israel and the vast mixed group that left Egypt with them, dear PT (peace to you!): ALL of them observed the Passover and ate the lamb and bitter greens... ALL of them passed through the Red Sea... ALL of them ate the manna... and ALL of them drank from the rock-mass... which meant Christ. Israel AND the alien residents among them! Exodus 12:43, 44, 48, 49; Numbers 11:4-7; 1 Corinthians 10:1-5

The WTBTS is nothing more than a false prophet, and paramour/haven for a harlot (one of these "daughters" of Babylon the Great, the MOTHER of harlots... those who commit adultery against their husbandly owner, Christ... which is what the "Society" is). They are those who TODAY "shut up the kingdom of the heavens before men"... because THEY do not go in... and, by means of their "false christs" (false anointed!)... mislead even the chosen ones (where possible).

Those in her can't SEE this truth because they have been blinded to the TRUTH, the Christ, the glorious GOOD news about whom cannot shine THROUGH... because they keep looking at "Moses", Israel's former "husband." That husband died, however... and his law was nailed to the torture pole of Christ. So long as they look at him, though, at Moses and HIS law... a "veil lies upon their HEARTS". Just a Moses wore a veil to cover GOD'S glory so that Israel could not see the END of the Law... Christ... the law continues that "veil"... and so covers God's glory... Christ... so that cannot see him... or HIS law.

Sadly, they can't even look at MOSES... and SEE... that even then ALL who left Egypt, Israel AND those who went with her... at and drank.

The blind... leading the blind... in this matter. Too bad... too bad.

I just want to add something to my earlier posts, when I explained how puzzled I was that you all still thought of going back to the Kingdom Hall for the celebration they call the Memorial.

I was puzzled because I didn't understand, just as most here don't understand a lot about my standpoint. I was looking at the partaking question from my experience of Holy Communion. It had just never occurred to me that for you the importance lay in demonstrating and proclaiming to all present and trapped within the WT system that Christ's invitation was open to all.

Likewise, Shelby, I keep forgetting that your mission is to those trapped within that oppressive system. I just have failed to realise what it must have been like to live within it, especially for those like you, justmom, who lived in it from childhood, so I just didn't understand.

Thank you all for your patience with me as I learn to realise more about your approach to this. I simply hadn't taken on board how awful it must have been to be denied Christ's gift by men who pretended to speak for God. I always thought that teaching of the 144,00 was so silly no-one could really believe it, and then, as I got drawn in, I tried to MAKE myself believe it. I shudder to remember how I tried to close my mind down!

Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone, and that now I understand a bit better.

I just always think back to when I was one of them on memorial night, believing the doctrine; it would have never occurred to me to think that anyone would even be there if they did not agree with the 144K thing. (Although now that I think about it, I believe there were at least some of us that had an open mind about that number.)

And I don't remember ever seeing anyone partake at all. I know there were two in my hall, but memorial is so so crowded, that I never even saw what was going on - was always toward the front of the hall.

If we had had someone like you come there and partake I would not have known about it anyway. So I was only relating it to my particular experience, but I see now what you mean.

Thanks for clearing that up, because I have wondered this for some time and just couldn't see why you would go there.

You are so welcome. Imagine " MY JOY ". When my lord invited me to eat and drink and that I, ME, little nobody ME, could belong to HIM, and have Holy Spirit lead ME and not an evil organization of false Christs that don't REALLY care about me. I was overjoyed beyond.
How I remember how FREE it felt to tell my elders in my judicial committee meeting when they asked me if I still felt Jehovah was using the faithful and discreet slave to dispense food?....

Dear justmom, I do indeed understand now how it was, how it has been for you.

How very dreadful that they sought to punish you for speaking the truth! But then, they live shut up in a Lie that boasts of itself as the Truth. Such wicked arrogance! Some are just brainwashed and trapped within it, and some, like two of the elders I came up against, are actively relishing their use of power and control, and they are very very culpable and will have to answer for themselves in due course.

Justmom, your own posts in this thread have been extremely helpful in giving me greater understanding on this subject. You know, I really wish I could take some of you with me to experience what I experience in my church, but then I can't do that, I can only try to convey the peace and joy that I find and hope some of it gets across to you as you have managed to get across to me so very well, how things are for you!

I too can try to understand others and their views as to their beliefs and I do appreciate different ones sharing their faith.

I am of the same mind and spirit as Shelby in that my main ministry is to " the lost sheep of Israel "
Our lord reassures me that because I am " of them". " from them" and can speak their language and can interpret theirs...he will use me to share the good news of CHRIST to them. And that it "SHOULD NOT" be such a foreign message as it does seem to be to them. SOME may listen. Most will not. This is why my prayers are for mercy on behalf of my people .
