I saw nothing spiteful in what loz said.


As a reminder to anyone reading, questioning faith is allowed. Testing inspired expressions is allowed (encouraged actually). Personal attacks/insults... not allowed.

So lets not start with those on the board please.

True, though.

I never claimed to be nice. I try very hard to be truthful. Brutally frank, maybe, but truthful, and I'm the first to acknowledge my faults. I might not tell you, though! ;)

Char, no one can be nice all the time. I admit that about myself as well.
Sometimes, as has been mentioned repeatedly, being truthful is more important than being nice. Although LOVE will always be truthful! LOVE will not always be nice!

What Char was possibly referring to as spiteful was probably the comment on asking if I was a moderator and if so then sorry as she didn't seem to detect any neutrality from me.

That was what I was referring to when I accepted the apology ;)

I just see no reason to take out a person's personal dislikes on the family dog.

Exactly. This is what I've said all along, when I was first told of the group of prominent posters on the board who decided that I did not show love and had been saying so to each other. I was told...very JW this...that they had "expressed concern".

Another thing about the way love behaves is that it doesn't go round judging others as to whether they show love or not.
