And, sadly, therein lies the rub, dear P (peace, luv!). It's not only that some wish to mislead, if possible, EVEN the chosen ones... but that there are those (perhaps even of the Body??!) who WANT to BE misled. Remember what JAH had Jeremiah tell Israel: that His people were not only being lied to... but LOVING it. So many would rather have their ears "tickled"... with "soothing" words, rather than truth. They don't understand, though, that that is the beginning of a downfall: wanting to hear what one wants to hear... more than wanting to hear the truth.

Ah, well... we are a very "tender" species. At least, that's what our Adversary keeps claiming.

May you all have peace! I need to make a correction re my young cousin's ailment: I had posted that he'd contract "ALS" as a result of the chemo/radiation for leukemia. He contracted "MDS" or myelodysplastic syndrome. For some reason, I thought MDS was "muscular dystrophy syndrome"... and so posted "ALS" instead - but it was not "ALS" (Lou Gherig's disease).

I know you dear ones most probably don't care/didn't even think of it, but considering the seriousness/graveness of the illness, I don't want to have the wrong information out there, you know?

Why do I feel that in recent years The Watchtower studies 'tickle' the ears as you said with minute issues and details? Is it only me?

Maybe because that's what they all eventually do... HAVE to do... to keep their membership, dear ANOMOS (peace to you!)? I mean, what preacher/pastor/priest/GB, etc., whose livelihood DEPENDS on donations/contributions/tithes/inheritances/insurance policies, etc., ISN'T going to "adjust" his/her thinking to comport with what his/her "constituents"... okay, membership/laity... WANT to hear? Truth doesn't go over so well, dear one. One only need look at Christ to "see" that.

Praise JAH, HE didn't change the truth to soothe the ears of the people. Cost him his life, yes... but I mean, if one who claims a relationship with God HAS to die, well, telling the truth ABOUT God... and about those who claim to worship Him... should be considered a valid reason. It was by him... and by his Father, the MOST HOLY One of Israel, JAH of Armies...

Don't be surprised, dear one, when the day comes that the WTBTS looks even less different than any other religion. They are well on their way. I mean, how long do they really think their dickering around with "the generation of 1914" is gonna work? Sooner or later they're gonna have to ditch THAT bag of melarkey... and use something else to convince folks to stay in her gates. Because THAT lie just won't hold UP any longer. It's already a banner completely torn to shreds and flying on its last leg, the wind having ripped through it with this latest lie ("someone who knows someone who knew someone who was born in 1914"... I mean, c'mon!). Soon, it won't be recognizable as a banner at ALL... not even a threadbare tattered rag. Just threads, if that.

For some of us, it's been that for some time.

I don't know if her members will think it's "worse," dear 'Mom (mornin' and peace to you, luv!); to the contrary, if it's comports with what they want/need to hear to STAY in her, then it will probably be viewed as "good news" in addition to "new light." Her adultery will absolutely get worse, though, yes... as it has for her mother (Babylon the Great) and sisters (the other harlots).

I remember thinking it was "starting" back when they changed from not being a religion to being a religion for purpose of the religous/governmental politics in Mexico, then Europe. For YEARS they asserted they were NOT a religion. Then, the government says, "Well, then, you can't be tax-exempt, etc." and all of a sudden it was "okay" to call themselves a religion. I remember thinking, "OMG, they've sold out!"

More... much more... to come, yes, I am sure, girl!

Oh yes, I do agree.
Her members won't feel it is much worse or even acknowledge it, but it will be obvious to the outside and those who know the truth of the matter. But they will continue to love it this way! And Jah because of this will allow their hearts to continue to be hardened and their eyes and ears to continue to be deaf.
Because they fail to acknowledge the one that has come in our fathers name...

Which is exactly why we have the account of the Pharaoh of Moses' day... having HIS heart made obstinate: because HE refused to accept the one sent to HIM (Moses) by JAH. In rejecting Moses, they rejected JAH. In rejecting Christ... these who claim to belong to/be in union with Christ... reject him, as well. May the day come when ALL wish to be given ears... so that ALL can hear when the Spirit and the Bride say to THEM:

"COME!!!!! TAKE 'life's water'... FREE!"

And only One dispenses that "water" - as you said, the HOLY One of Israel, JAHESHUA, the Chosen One of JAH (MischaJah)!

Yes, and those who refuse to listen to Christ but instead listen to others... may then end up hearing nothing from Him at all... until the time that they might turn and say, "Blessed is He who comes in the name of Jahveh!"

Which, although stated directly to Israel (who had their faith in the temple in Jerusalem)... applies to ANYONE who doesn't heed the directive of JAH Himself, dear tec (peace, dear one!), who said:

"This is my SON, the BELOVED; LISTEN to HIM." Matthew 17:5

If this applied to Israel in the flesh (and particularly the Jews of Jerusalem and the surrounding areas (and areas INFLUENCED by Jerusalem)... and those who went with HER, stands to reason that it applies to those who profess to be Israel in SPIRIT... or the NEW Jerusalem and so, Bride of Christ... and those who go with "her."

Disregarding the SON's words is bad enough; disregarding JAH... as to listening to His Son... well...

Bad enough when folks don't do it literally; makes even less sense when they don't even heed his RECORDED words:

"... you shall SEE me NO MORE... UNTIL you SAY "Blessed is he that comes... in the NAME of JaHVeH."

If one BELONGS to Christ... then such one knows the NAME of Christ... because they know the NAME of God. Because Christ REVEALS that name to those given him BY God. John 17:6-8

That most don't know the name of either ONE... JAH... OR His Son, JAH eSHUA, the Chosen ONE of JAH (MischaJah)... is telling. And sad... because that truth isn't gonna carry much weight "when the lights go on."

Perhaps as much as faith, though, listening is apparently ALSO not a skill possessed by all men. People hear what they want to hear... and don't hear what they don't want to. Unfortunately, JAH and Christ don't work that way. Don't WANT to hear (received/accept) what they have to say? Then such a "wish" is what will be granted - one will most probably hear nothing... from them. True, one might hear "something," but most likely it isn't from them but from another "source." Including oneself.

Now is the time to LEARN... to LISTEN.

May those WITH ears, hear and get the sense of this truth, and may those without them but WISHING for them... be granted ears. To hear the [Holy] Spirit and HOLY One of Israel, JAHESHUA, the Chosen One of JAH (MischaJah)... and his Bride... when they SAY to such one:

"COME!! Take 'life's WATER'... the holy spirit OF God, the MOST HOLY One of Israel, JAH of Armies - His life FORCE... which force... in the form of breath, blood, semen... and whatever ELSE grants LIFE... is poured out from the innermost parts OF that Son and given to ALL who are wishing and thirsting FOR it... FREE!"

May the day come when ALL live by means of the leaves of this "Tree" [of Life], Christ [/b]John 14:6; 15:1, 2, 6[/b]... and the "water" that flows from HIS throne and his Father's!

Hear... O Israel!
