GRAMMAVELTA SAID
Nambo, I loved the video and found an even more extensive one among the videos which appeared at the end.
Here are a few of my thoughts. From what I have read about the pre-flood earth, plants grew to be enormous. We have evidence of that in the oil depostis which they say came from the decomposition of plants. Perhaps, it was God's purpose to create these immense creatures to control the growth so that it did not take over the earth. Genesis 1: 27-30:
"So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground. ”
Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food. ” And it was so."
Many people believe that dinosaurs were meat-eaters, because of their huge teeth, but wouldn't they need large teeth to eat huge plants? Perhaps the majority of them did not survive the flood because God knew there would not be the same plant growth as before and no need for their plant-eating capacity.
I think it is possible that Noah could have taken some of the smaller dinosaurs onto the ark. They say that reptiles such as crocodiles continue to grow throughout their lifetimes, so there could have been some still on the earth, even today. Especially those who live in water. They could have survived outside the ark.
Another thought: Some believe there was no death until Adam sinned. Do you believe that God created the animals to live forever, or even to live as long as mankind did before the flood. Where did God get the animal skins that He clothed Adam and Eve with. Where did Abel get the idea to sacrifice a lamb? Was it God's purpose that mankind continue to clothe themselves with animal skins? After all it was His idea.
Just thoughts that came to me while reading some of the accounts in the Bible and reading different things.
The Bible is an interesting book and there is so much in it that is not explained in detail. Gives room for a lot of speculation.
Love all the thoughts, gives my imagination wings. hee hee
Love and hugs,
