I've always found, in all circumstances, that clear, plain and simple leads to fewer misunderstandings and that getting things out in the open gets things into the light so that it can be fully seen as it is.

LOL. It reminds me of a local TV show where they would do skits, and they would say 'A certain ethnic man . . . " Which was just silly, cuz the actor was Polish, and Polish jokes were popular at the time. Not that I think Polish jokes are okay, but funny how we will word things to get around the main issue.
Anyway, just a random thought, and not actually a statement on anything being discussed. I just found the wording funny because of the local show.
