I have had occasions in my life where I am sure he spoke to me, but I emphatically did not hear a voice as such. Not a disembodied voice, nor an audible voice in my head. Those times there was an inner certainly, a thought that seemed to come elsewhere. Such a voice would not ever conflict with the principles we recognise as lovi g and good. There would be nothing that wouldn't feel right.
