I think Burns pointed that info (or maybe Psac) on jwn one time, in a 'religion/christianity/belief in God has set the scientific world back with superstition' debate... or something along those lines. Gotta admit that I loved when he posted that, lol. Big grin from me when I saw it ; ) Peace, tammy |

Correction... I think that might have been a debate about how believers did not make good scientists. So even bigger grin, lol ; ) Peace, tammy |

Good stuff, dear Pup... and thanks for posting a link to the "Science/Religion" thread, dear Char (that WAS a good discussion, wasn't it!?)... and dear, dear P... DUDE! LOLOLOL! Peace to you all, and if we DO get into a science "measuring" contest, I MIGHT participate (the extent I "know" science, which is VERY little... and/or my Lord permits, in which case, don't be surprised if we are permitted to understand something "science" has currently overlooked - happens all the time!)... so I will ask the gentlemen to try and "keep it zipped"... in advanced - LOLOLOL! 1 minute 47 seconds... Peace to you all! YSSFS of Christ, Shellama |

A quick question for any who might now/deign to opine (peace to you all!): If the universe is expanding (and I agree that it is)... "what" is it expanding "into"? The premise is that there was "nothing" to start with. If, howver, there was "nothing" (for the universe to expand into), LOGIC says that "it" (whatever "banged"/started things) would have destroyed itself, imploding IN on itself, having no ROOM to explode OUT. Yes? Yet, the theory is that the universe is expanding, getting larger as it were. How can it do so... if there is no ROOM... WITHIN which to do so? Again, I agree that it is expanding. I am just curious as to how some believe it is expanding "into nothing." Because that is not my understanding as to "what" it is expanding "into." Anyone? Again, peace to you, all! A slave of Christ, Shellama |
