Wait, aren't all... well, most... of these folks on the FBI's blacklist as commie, nazi, marxist, stalinist facists, dear one (peace!)? Oh, wait... I don't see Elvis. Or John Lennon. Or Lucille Ball. My bad: wrong list.

Peace to you!

Your servant and a slave of Christ,

Shellamar, wondering where Mel (Gibson's) signature is...

BTW I would be proud to be in FBI's blacklist. What did Jesus say about his true disciples?

Well, the words He is telling me to remind you about are written here:

John 13:34-35

A new command I give you: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

Peace to you,
your servant and a slave of Christ,
tammy

Perhaps you mean, where he said to them, "You are no part of the world. Because I've chosen you OUT of the world, the world hates you..." or something along those lines, dear ANOMOS (peace to you!). But I don't consider society in general... or my current government... part of the "world" that my dear Lord meant, here. For ME, the ONLY folks show hate ME... and that I have been chosen out OF... are those of the WTBTS. The FBI couldn't care less about me (trust me, they couldn't).

Many of the WTBTS, on the other hand... and particularly some that USED to call me "brother" (well, sister)... have a palpable hate. I see/feel it every time I attend a Memorial where (some of them) still are.

But I could be wrong as to what you mean. If so, please tell us... what did he say to them?

Thanks, and peace to you!

Your servant and a slave of Christ,

Shellamar

Regardless of whether the “world” we speak of is that of the Society (and the people there who hate us) or of the “world” in general, it must be remembered that our Lord stated that “our allegiance” belongs to him and him alone. Not to anyone else, not to any flag, not to any republic, not to anyone or anything else—only to him. It must also be remembered that “our citizenship” belongs to the heavens (as stated by another Bible writer in the Greek writings). Now, while we may have a kind of dual citizenship, so to speak, like the apostle Paul—his most important citizenship belonging to heaven and his other citizenship belonging to Rome, whereby he could and did use such Roman citizenship to his benefit, the apostle Paul considered all things refuse now that he had Christ.

In addition, it also must be remembered that the Bible writers in the Greek writings state that “we”—those who belong to Christ—are living in this world as “alien residents.” Our home country is in the heavens with Christ. We just happen to find ourselves here as “aliens.” Even more so, the Bible writers in the Greek writings state that we are “ambassadors substituting for Christ.” That statement speaks volumes.

Think upon it: An ambassador belongs to another nation, country, or government. He “resides” as an “alien resident” in the land which he finds himself assigned to. While he lives in his assigned country, he obeys all the laws of the land he is in while never relinquishing his citizenship or his allegiance to his home country. As an ambassador sues for “peace,” we sue for peace. He can use the laws of the land he is assigned to for his benefit and the benefit of others. Yet, at all times, he is “no part of the world” in which he finds himself.

And that’s all I have to say.

--Armand

Your government is not part of the World Jesus spoke about?
I think you are in terrible need of some correction. Sorry to say this but this is spiritual blindness.
I am shocked!
