We Lost from Costa Rica in the penalties. Costa Rica was beating Greece 1-0, lost one player (red card) and 'disappeared' from the field. It was a Greek monologue. But Greece could not score despite so many shots. Finally Greece scored in extra (delays) time! So a half hour extended time followed. Costa Rica managed to survive, literally that is the word we should use, the Greek players' raids and lead the game to the penalties where they had the only superiority against Greece: their goalkeeper. And they succeeded. Indeed it as their goalkeeper who also said no to the Greek shots during the game. So I could say that he was the Hero of the game. What more to say when you see 5 Greek players against 2 Costa Rica and to fail to score? I have never seen this in my life. And the statistics? Costa Rica was almost absent. They also got so many cards, that even if I wish them good luck in their next match and they win it they will be decimated and have no players left to continue. But of course against Netherlands they won't have a chance in a million. They cannot be so lucky again and against such a team. |

I am not following FIFA, I don't understand or enjoy the game but my condolences to you Anomos for the Greece loss of the game LOL I watched the game 3 weeks ago when Columbia won against Ivory Coast. I was getting my nails done and the game was on tv right in front of my eyes. I saw the whole game. All I thought was what a lot of hard work that is. They must be incredibly fit. |

It is very hard. And they have a very strict program to follow. Their families don't see them much. |
