Hi again everyone.
Wow am I embarrassed, my perception of things are really messed up. I really appreciate hearing what you have said Shelby and Just Mom, it really helped me in more ways than one and I hope it didn't cause a problem with me saying what I thought.

Dear Zoe, Peace to you dear sister,

No problem dear Zoe, we ALL need these reminders and encouragement from our Lord. This will pass!

We, who claim to have faith, need to stay focused on JAHeshua and trust that he will take care of our households. Be the example in Christ you want them ‘to see.’

He will do the rest!

Love your sister servant and slave of Christ,
kim

Well, Corona has come a little to close to home.
Some if you may remember my daughter Waterspout, she has been very ill with the virus, couldn't get her breath. Happily she is doing better now, but still struggling. Her husband came down with it first, then babysprout. Thankfully they recovered well, but still in isolation along with Becky (W/sprout).
It's been a bit scary, but it'll pass. Stay in your inner rooms and stay safe.

Peace ❤️

Peace to you!

Please, dear sister... don't tell him this. It really isn't helpful especially as unbelievers see world crises come and go (Matthew 24:6-8). And it certainly doesn't give an impression of "GOOD news," which is what we supposed to be sharing, yes?

I concur with this, dear Zoe (peace to you both!)

My husband is not a believer either, he is agnostic (perhaps along the lines of our dear Sheriff here). There have been times where I have been able to share things with him, when he is open to it and my Lord directs me, and times when I cannot. But there is no need to worry about this at all. We do not have to worry about our households (including unbelieving mates). Nor can we make anyone come to Christ.

"No one comes to the Son unless the Father draws them."

All that I have done with my husband or sons or other loved ones who are non-believers during 'coronavirus' is tell them not to worry, not to panic - and then of course make sure I follow those words as well, because the words won't mean anything without the example. Sometimes just the example is enough (perhaps because the words won't be accepted).

Peace again to you and dear John and the rest of your household, and to you all,
your sister and servant and fellow slave of Christ,
tammy

.

Peace to you, again, dear, dear Zoe. No problems caused, not at all. I sometimes don't comment because I know what I will share might not be what some want to hear/can easily receive. So I thank YOU for your kind reception of my response. It's just that... well... if we respond to every world event in the same manner as Jehovahs Witnesses can we truly say we've left them (their way of thinking)? They not only LIVE in fear, not only PEDDLE it... but THRIVE on it. I know people even today who would swear on a STACK of Bibles that they've left that harlotous daughter and, yet, pass a plate of unleavened bread and glass of red wine before them. No WAY they're gonna partake! Why?? We all KNOW why.

They and most religious have a language of fear: is this the last days?? This must be a sign of the end!! Armageddon's just around the corner!! Does this mean Christ is about to return??

To have to ask such questions... worry about such things... when he said to not be anxious over ANYTHING is a lack of faith in him, yes? Because all we need do is stay awake. Or at least have oil in our lamps so that if we fall asleep we can see our way out to meet him when he returns.

I get it that this is a serious issue. VERY serious. But worrying won't stop it. Washing our hands and staying inside as much as possible will. Easy-peasy. That's easier than stopping a gazillion other illnesses. And I do NOT mean to play down those among us who may have/have had it. I addressed that in such an instance (and ONLY such an instance) is worry absolutely understandable - we are human and although he knew he would resurrect him, even our dear Lord cried when Lazarus died. And felt compassion for those who were sick and/or had loved ones who were sick and/or died.

But to worry just because... what, one needs to worry? I cannot say I have faith in Christ and then say, "Yes, sister, worrying is good." I... cannot.

Do not be embarrassed or beat yourself up over it, though, but maybe just do what you have and receive it not as an attempt to put down but as an attempt to prop UP.

Peace to you, as well, dear sister Mal... and to your household and dear WS, as well. I am very glad to hear she and hubs have recovered and I am sorry for your entire household that you all went through this. Sickness doesn't always discriminate and so we, although of Christ's Body, are not immune.

Per Christ, though, we can have the gift to HEAL... anyone (including those of our own household) but ourselves)... if we only WANT to. Fear, though... of contracting something or even that it might not work... or not even believing it can (which is a lack of faith)... can stop us from even trying. Our Lord, though, didn't fear sickness. Nor do many of those who can't stay home but are out trying to help these poor sick people.

My point? We can stay home but if possible we might even be able to help from there... which, if our dear Lord was right when he said "there is more happiness in giving than receiving," could help us NOT worry, if we need help beyond our faith.

Stay in your inner rooms

If possible, yes, indeed. But this isn't what was meant. Again, this is NOTHING compared to what the fours winds will wrought. And if we can't handle THIS... well...

Yes. Well, at least have enough love for your fellow man to not risk his life or his household's by going out and about unnecessarily.

Although a terrible thing affecting many, a virus, even a deadly one, isn't what WE should be watching (unless it is directly impacting us/our loved ones):

Good Morning everyone and I must say its so nice to be here and be able to have discussions and share our thoughts.

First of all Waterspout I want to say I feel very bad for you that you and your family were so sick with this Virus, that must have been very traumatic. So good to know you are recovering.

Thank you Shelby for your encouragement and wise words, I take no insult at all in it and in fact appreciate having my thinking process corrected for the GOOD. Now I can see I was displaying a JW Watchtower society thinking process and that is absolutely horrible. It boils down to using common sense and showing love, kindness and compassion. Plus not worrying and keeping calm and not preaching gloom and doom.

Thank Tammy for your comments and how you deal with things, I have taken that to heart.

Sheriff your Gifs and Meme's are so Funny and gave me a laugh.

John is going to work part time at the Hardware Store which had me worried but his store decided to shut their doors yesterday and do phone in orders, drive through and delivery service. So John's job is to run around the store and gather together stuff into a cart and then someone else takes it out to the persons and they get out of their cars and load it themselves into the car. The managers are going out to the cars about 6 feet away and taking the orders verbally and giving it to John or someone else to fill it. To pay they have wireless credit card units that get wiped down each time. No cash. It still is dangerous but at least he is doing a service.

Have a good day everyone, it is snowing here where I live UGH.

Peace to you all -

I just received from the Master to read Psalm 91. He asked me to remember to replace "the LORD" or "Jehovah" with JaH'VeH.

Peace to you ALL and to your dear, dear households.

YSSFS of Christ,

Shel

Greetings, peace, and good health to you, all (and to your dear households)!

Amazing, isn't it, his (always perfect) timeliness? I think dear Kim's (peace to you, luvee!) stepmom Sally first shared the term "nick of time God'" with us years ago. She meant JaH, of course, but I have found it very true with our dear Lord.

I had JUST started to ask him, in my heart, what, if anything I should FEEL (and/or do) about this matter. As with others here, I am an "at-risk" person and my job is such that I have to go in at least 2 days a week (starting tomorrow - it was 4 days since we received the stay-at-home order). Although I isolate myself in a particular part of one of my buildings, because I manage the mailrooms, I have to interact with all manner of delivery persons (mail, UPS, FedEx, etc.). I also receive equipment and badges turned in when someone terminates (voluntarily or involuntarily).

This is totally by choice: I asked that I be the one to come in vs. any of my staff as they ALL have minor children and I know there are families that have lost parents due to this virus. I couldn't bear the thought that I would be at home safe and sound while my team members put themselves at risk. Just seemed... well, wrong... "privileged"... to me ("Yeah, they're not as valuable workers so let's make them come in" - that really was the frickin' thinking!! I thought, wait - doesn't it cost more for ME not to work??). And these also don't have JaH and Christ (at least, not as we do) and so may not be protected (I know, I know - I could just pray for them, but to me that would be like our dear Lord just sending out his disciples saying, "Go, heal... cast out demons," while being unwilling to do so himself, not wanting to touch anyone himself but just asking the Father to protect those he sent out. Can't even imagine it, let alone "see" it).

While I have to travel to and from the facilities, I am alone in my car so no danger there (and Hubs, who always takes the BART, is working from so no risk of him infecting me). When I do have to interact with others, I wear a mask. When I have to touch items (mail, packages, computers, badges, keys, etc.), I wear disposable gloves. Even so, I am NOWHERE at risk as the doctors, nurses, EMTs, fire, intake/reception, pharmacy, security, parking and other personnel who have to come in CLOSE contact with patients (I manage facility operations for a very large healthcare organization, not medical facilities/hospitals but Administrative buildings and 3 labs).

And so, I had to ask, "Am I being foolish, Lord? Am I putting your/the Father's protection to the test (ya'll know: as the WTBTS teaches one might - Luke 4:9-12)? And before I could even get the questions fully formed in my thoughts, he softly, kindly, and very lovingly said "Look to the 91st Psalm, child." And when I went there, he read it to me, in his voice. And as I read I KNEW I had absolutely nothing to fear as to this virus ("pestilence").

And... I knew, because I know YOU all... and your fear, sometimes... that I had to share it with you. Maybe it was just for me and my situation but given this discussion I didn't think so. I thought "We ALL can do with some assurance, right now, so...".

May the undeserved kindness and mercy of our God and Father, JaH [Who Breathes], the love and peace of His Son, our dear Lord, Leader, Master, Teacher, Guide, Instructor, and King, JaH'eShua, the Holy One of Israel and Holy Spirit... and the protection of them both... be upon you ALL and upon your dear, dear households!

Your servant, sister and a slave of Christ,

Shel

I`ll be concerned for you.
I know you`ll be smart about all this but, I`ll still be concerned.

There are 8 states still not ordering "stay at home" orders.
What a failure in leadership, both State and Federal.

Peace to you ALL this day!

“Nick of time God” yes......

Always perfect!

Thank you for sharing Psalms 91. It was something that helped me tremendously, let me explain.

Now I had not worried about myself. I truly felt Jah and Christ had my back as long as I continued in faith, with caution towards others of course. I felt the worst case would be “mild to no symptoms” but I never felt and especially not being at “high risk” that I would die from it.

My worry was that although I felt I would be okay with any symptoms I did not want to infect others especially older folks as I am still working every day and coming in contact with the public daily.

So Psalms 91 was perfect timing for me.

I rejoiced and thanked them for this promise and then our Lord JAHeshua said to me,

“Now where would the love be if I promise to protect YOU yet allow you to infect others that would possibly cause their death.”

Duh? I felt so foolish. Of course! If I am protected from it all together, there is no way I can pass it on to anyone.

The love, mercy and protection they are for us. We cannot even fathom how great it is. We are truly a blessed people to be known by them and their love.

So, may our Lord and father JAH grant you their peace and protection for all eternity,

Your sister fellow servant and slave of JAHeshua,
kim
